17 Matt Damon And Ben Affleck Are Childhood Bros


Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are the epitomai of a beloved bromance. The duo met as children growing up in Massachusetts. Later, as young men, they starred in the movie, School Ties in 1992 and would later go on to win an Oscar for their screenplay for the movie, Good Will Hunting. Matt Damon dished on his lifelong friendship with Ben.

“I’ve known him for 35 years, and we grew up together. We were both in love with the same thing – acting and filmmaking. I think we fed on each other’s obsession during really formative, important years and that bonded us for life,”

he told ET. And Ben has only ever had nice things to say about his best friend, "I can't tell you how valuable it is to have somebody who's been through things with you, ups and downs, who knows what your life experience is like, who can identify with that," Affleck told ET. "It's an incredibly valuable friendship and it's very precious and so is my friendship with my brother. I don't know what I would do without those guys."

In recent news, an MIT graduate no says he wrote Good Will Hunting, not Ben or Matt, according to Page Six, but the movie has been out for more than 20 years and he’s never uttered a word about it.

They were pretty inseparable and ate lunch together and all those types of thing,” he said according to Teen Vogue.

The ladies would go on to have a bumpy few years.

After starring is Disney’s Princess Protection Program together their friendship would be tested, especially after Selena’s new friendship with up and comer at the time Taylor Swift.

They grew apart but would reunite after Demi’s stint in a facility in 2011. “Fortunately, I have family and friends around me that are very, very supportive of me and my recovery… Nick [Jonas] especially and Selena because Selena called me crying when I was in there and was just so worried… I was like 'Look, I should be the one crying. It's all good.'…Ever since then, we've gotten closer,” according to HollywoodLife.

As of now Demi and Selena appeared to be on good terms, but never seem to have returned to their Disney days friendship status.

That was my job. I loved it,” Kim said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2017. “But people will say ‘assistant.’ They always have it wrong.” Both ladies became household names after those tapes went public, but Kim’s star has rocketed, while Paris’ notoriety has cooled a little bit. And they seemed to be on the outs after Paris went on the radio and dissed Kim's body.“I would not want [Kim’s behind] — it’s gross!” Paris said according to Us Magazine. “It reminds me of cottage cheese inside a big trash bag.”

Kim later told Howard Stern that Paris had apologized to her. “I haven’t talked to her in a few years. We were good friends… It was just one time we didn’t speak again. I did speak to her once when she went on a radio station and said that my [behind] looks like cellulite in a trash bag or something. She did call me to apologize.”

They would go on the date on and off for 15 years and included a few wedding proposals from William all of which Felicity rejected since she was scared of marriage. "I thought I'd disappear. Men's stock when they get married goes up. Women's stock goes down," she said according to Woman’s Day. After a five year breakup, Felicity finally said yes to marriage to William.
