Megan Fox is definitely an interesting part of Hollywood. She's highly visible in certain ways, you also get the feeling that you don't know her at all. She's not a celeb out to get a paparazzi shot all day long, and as beautiful as she is, she doesn't focus on that. Even when she talks about her life, and we should be able to discern certain details from those interviews, it can be hard to know if she means what she says or is throwing people for a loop. She has said some pretty strange stuff, but here are 15 of the most entertaining and head-scratching things that Megan Fox has told the media.

15  When She Said She's Zac Efron

via: twitter.com

The intention of the following statement is not super clear, but she does mention that she and Zac Efron are the same person: "Zac Efron is my obsession, we're the same person. We're not actually here, it's like Janet and Michael Jackson. He just puts on his wig and a dress, and it's me, and you don't know that. It's one of the greatest mysteries of all time."

14 When She Said She's Not Girly

via: twitter.com

Megan has mentioned multiple times that she's not as feminine or girly as everyone perceives her to be: "I'm not a 'sexy' 'beautiful' woman. It takes a lot of work to make me look like a girl." Here's where it gets really weird: "I'm pretty sure I'm a doppelganger for Alan Alda."

13 When She Called Olivia Wilde Hot

via: nymag.com

Sure most people can agree that Olivia Wilde is beautiful, but most people don't feel moved to attack a wild animal because of it. Megan, on the other hand, seems a little fired up about it: "I could see myself in a relationship with a girl; Olivia Wilde is so sexy she makes me want to strangle a mountain ox with my bare hands. She's mesmerizing." Um, okay?

12 When She Discussed Baby Talk

via: onenewspage.com

Megan makes all kinds of baby talk sound much more sinister than normal:  "I personally always find something really scary about watching little girls learning to manipulate their dads by baby talking. Then they grow up and use the same technique on their boyfriends or husbands. That scares me because it's just so sick on so many levels."

11 When She Said She Doesn't Need To Sound Smart

via: fansshare.com

Megan seems aware that not everyone thinks that she's super smart, and it doesn't sound like she really cares. She has said, "I don't want to have to go on talk shows and pull out every SAT word I've ever learned to prove, like, 'Take me seriously, I am intelligent, I can speak.'"

10 When She Said She's Not The Best Actress

via: pinterest.com

Megan has mentioned that she's not the best actress in the world, and she's even gone so far as to say that the films she's starred in aren't that amazing, either. Most people would agree but it's kind of weird that she would admit it: "I've done one movie. And it's not a movie I want to stand on as far as acting ability goes. I mean, I'm not going to win an Oscar anytime soon. I'm not Meryl Streep."

9 When She Talked About Food

via: pinterest.com

She says she'll cook for people but it makes her sad: ""I can cook, but I also want everything to look beautiful on the plate - then I get upset when people eat it. Everyone just tears through it, and that makes me sad. It's not a rewarding experience for me to cook." She also has shared before that she won't cook a meal for just her: "I'll starve to death before I'll cook for myself." Dramatic much?!

8 When She Said Girls Are A Nightmare

via: pinterest.com

Megan used one of her films to point out that girls can be a nightmare: "People expected 'Jennifer's Body' to make so much money. But I was doubtful. The movie is about a man-eating, cannibalistic lesbian cheerleader, and that pretty much eliminates middle America. It's obviously a girl-power movie, but it's also about how scary girls are. Girls can be a nightmare."

7 When She Said She's A Homebody

via: pinterest.com

Megan has mentioned that she doesn't get out much: ""I've never really socialized; I've always been anti-social and preferred to be at home. I was never, even my late teens and early twenties, into clubs and parties and stuff like that." But don't worry that she's lonely or anything because she's probably just doing the deed: "I have the libido of a 15-year-old boy. My drive is so high. I'd rather do it with Brian all the time than leave the house."

6 When She Called Herself Crazy

via: fanpop.com

Megan literally called herself mentally ill at one point, and we're not really sure what to think about that, but here's the statement anyway. Think what you will:"I think that I'm so psychotic and so mentally ill that if I could tap into that so I could do something really interesting."

5 When She Discussed Leprechauns

via: tumblr.com

Megan has mentioned that she believes in leprechauns: "I believe in all of these Irish myths, like leprechauns. Not the pot of gold, not the Lucky Charms leprechauns. But maybe was there something in the traditional sense? I believe that this stuff came from somewhere other than people's imaginations."

4 When She Described Her Taste In Men

via: pinterest.com

Megan says in theory that there's a certain kind of guy that she's attracted to, but then there's the guy that she does end up with. She has said that she's super attracted to bad boys who wear nail polish and tattoos. She's into boys in punk bands, too. She has added that the guys she ends up with long-term are "nice guys" and that this contradiction even seems kind of weird to her. Well, at least she realizes it.

3 When She Said Maybe She Would Date A Girl

via: sheknows.com

Megan believes that everyone is bisexual so she's sort of open to dating women... but not if they're also bisexual. Head scratch. This quote is so confusing that it's best to just take our word for it.

2 When She Described Her Work As Illegal Activity

via: fansshare.com

Megan has described acting in a way that makes it sound more like an illegal activity than an art form: "When you think about it, we actors are kind of like "workers". We get paid to feign attraction and love. Other people are paying to watch us kissing someone, touching someone, doing things people in a normal monogamous relationship would never do with anyone who's not their partner. It's really kind of gross."

1 When She Said She Lies To The Media

via: elitedaily.com

Apparently Megan isn't always telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth when she sits down for an interview. She has shared that she likes to throw lies into the conversation so people don't know what's actually happening. So all we can do is read her weird quotes, and she is still a total mystery to us. Which is probably the exact point.
