On January 16th, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West revealed their surrogate gave birth to a healthy baby 12:47 am. Although they haven't announced the name of the newborn yet (we're sure it will be something unconventional), Kim did take the time to publish the announcement on her website. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star wrote, "She's here! We're so in love. Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."
But fans had some serious questions...
One fan wrote on Twitter, "This is so weird... Just 2 days ago it was reported that Kylie was in labor... which they later said was 'false'. Now Kim & Kanye are welcoming their new baby into the world? So, all this time Kylie was really the f***ing surrogate?" Another added, "Y’all find it a coincidence that Kylie was rumored to have gone into labor this weekend and then Kim welcomes baby #3 on Monday."

15 Kylie Was Spotted Looking Heavily Pregnant Only THIS Week
A picture posted online showing a heavily pregnant Kylie just 72 hours before Kim announced the birth of her baby girl. Was Kylie shopping for supplies to take to the hospital with her? Wearing an oversized hooded jumper and slip on shoes, she looked like she was going to burst any second. Even though she was hiding behind her sunglasses, there's no mistaking this isn't the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister.
Kylie's team have been on high alert as it emerged that one of Kylie's employees tried to take a secret photo of her. Her momager Kris said of the incident, "There's always somebody that's trying to exploit the certain situation, and to have somebody in her own home trying to snap pictures they shouldn't be snapping is really, really stressful." Wait till she witnesses this latest photo leak.
14 Kylie Was Spotted In The Same Hospital Kim's Baby Was Born
Moving on to the following day, Kylie was spotted at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. The hospital is known for being discreet as they have had to deal with many a celebrity delivery in the past - Kourtney Kardashian, Jessica Simpson, Victoria Beckham, Kate Hudson, Penelope Cruz and Pink have all given birth here. However, with 1000 employees registered working here, it's difficult to keep anything a full secret.
If Kylie is Kim's surrogate then this is certainly the hospital she would have chosen for her sister as it's just an hour-long drive away from their Hidden Hills homes. It's no surprise that just less than 48 hours later, Kim announced that her baby daughter had been born at Cedars-Sinai hospital. It's all starting to come together now.
13 Fans Leaked The News On Twitter
The Twitter rumor mill went into overdrive at the weekend when one fan wrote, "A source has confirmed to me that Kylie Jenner is indeed at the hospital. Working to get you information on whether she's in labor, there to tour the hospital before giving birth, or something unrelated." Then the screenshots of the exchange between an alleged staffer and a friend looked to prove that Kylie was indeed giving birth.
Everyone online went into private detective mode as they scrawled through the screen grabs revealing Kylie was in labor. Kylie has been incredibly private about her pregnancy so these leaks were the worst thing that could have happened to her. Although, her security team appeared to be on lockdown as not too much information was made public.
12 Kim Always Hid The Real Identity Of Her "Surrogate"
Kim made the announcement during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians that she had found the "perfect candidate" to be her surrogate. There was not much known about the surrogate other than she was an African-American woman in her 20s, who is married and already has two sons of her won. It was also reported that she would be paid $45,000 to carry the baby - a surprisingly low amount considering Kim and Kanye have an estimated net worth of nearly $200 million between them both.
Kim is quite media savvy when it comes to playing games with the press. She often uses lookalikes and body decoys when she wants to trick the paparazzi, so if she needed to fool the paparazzi into believing this is the woman who is her surrogate then she's more than capable of knowing how to pull that off.
11 Kylie Didn't Visit Her Sister's New Baby — Was She Already Inside?
Kendall raced back from the runways of Milan Fashion Week to be beside her sister Kim after hearing the new baby news. She tried to cover her face, which appeared to show blemishes on her skin, as she rolled up to the hospital to meet her niece. Makeup free Kendall looked nothing like the supermodel who had been walking for Michael Kors, Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang and Ralph Lauren.
One source told Hollywood Life online, "As far as she’s concerned, she’s more than happy to be the coolest aunt who spoils her nieces and nephews and gives them right back to their mommies. She’s not the odd woman out, that’s for sure." But where was Kylie to greet the newborn? Most likely already inside the hospital.
10 Kim BEGGED Her Sisters To Be Her Surrogate
Early last year, Kim "begged" her sisters to be a surrogate for her as she was told by doctors that having any more children could actually kill her. She revealed about the upcoming episode, "You kind of see the whole thing on this next season of our show... of me begging Khloe to help out (with the surrogacy), but I do not want to do that to her."
Looking at her options - Kylie was the ideal candidate for the surrogacy. On September 6th, Kim announced she was expecting her third child and on September 24th, Kylie caused huge speculation when she uploaded a photo of her rubbing her belly whilst stood next to her BFF Jordan. Kanye West is so close to Travis Scott that the rumors were he even asked him to be godparent to his new child and Travis also wanted to return the favor. Travis is signed to Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music label as a producer and they have both worked together since 2013.

Usually both sisters appear in the campaign but in this case, only Kendall appeared. Around the same time, Kylie posted a video to Snapchat and it appeared she was wearing a maternity bra. How obvious could it all have been? Surrogate mothers can choose if they wish to breastfeed the baby or not, Kim has had issues with feeding in the past as it makes North "too jealous" of her siblings so it's no surprise she will likely leave the feeding up to Kylie.
According to Radar Online, Kylie also hired a pregnancy coach. They revealed, "Kylie hired a pregnancy coach too, who will help her with nutrition and exercise, as well as take her through Lamaze training when she gets further along." No doubt that bill was picked up by Kim herself.
5 Kylie Didn't Appear In Any Family Christmas Shoots
Kylie was not just absent from one of the Kardashian-Jenner Christmas cards but two. She missed out on the ice rink photo opportunity (well, you can't have a pregnant woman on ice!) and also she didn't appear at all in Kim's Christmas countdown. It's more likely that Kylie is carrying her sister's baby rather than the other theory that she's gone fully recluse like Rob Kardashian.
Kim will be thankful she's not the one going through with the pregnancy as she revealed that she hates the whole experience. On her website, she wrote, "Maybe it's the swelling, the backaches or just the complete mindfuck of how your body expands and nothing fits. I just always feel like I'm not in my own skin. 4 Kim Turned Down $5 Million For The Baby Pictures
In a move we have never seen from Kim before, she actually TURNED DOWN money for pictures of baby number three. According to TMZ, she was offered between $2 - 5 million from various publications for rights to the pictures - something which she has done before with both North and Saint featuring in Vogue magazine. So what is so different about this time? There is so much privacy surrounding this pregnancy that's it's difficult to not believe something is strange this time.
Following the birth of her daughter, Kim said, "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care." Now, all we need is for her to admit that the surrogate is Kylie.
3 Kylie Hasn't Updated Instagram Since Christmas To Prepare For Birth
The huge question on everyone's lips last year was - why has Kylie gone so quiet on social media? Around September time, one fan tweeted, "I think she is pregnant because she’s been posting throwbacks way more than usual." This is true as the only pictures of Kylie in lingerie were throwback shots when before we couldn't go a week without a nearly nude Kylie appearing everywhere.
She hasn't updated her Instagram since Christmas day which was the cover of LOVE magazine featuring only a headshot. All her other photos are either home decorations or promotional photos for her Kylie cosmetics range. If Kylie was pregnant with her own baby, we doubt she would miss the chance to show her 100 million followers cute baby bump pics - but considering she's likely a surrogate this is a good reason for her to be more private.
2 Kylie Vanished From Her Makeup Artist's Feed
One of the biggest clues that Kylie was pregnant is that she completely disappeared from the timeline of her close friend and makeup artist, Ariel Tejada. The pair had been inseparable on his Snapchat ever since Kylie found him on Instagram and they swapped numbers. Then hawk-eyed fans noticed Kylie hasn't appeared on his timeline since September last year (around the same time Kim announced her surrogacy news).
There's been no feud however as Ariel instead appears alongside Kim and Kris for his tutorials. Kylie told Interview magazine, "I honestly hate wearing makeup. Lately, I've just been so over it. I feel like I'm way too young to wear such heavy makeup all the time. It's just bad for your skin, but I'm always doing photo shoots or red carpets and events, so I just obviously want to look good." But she doesn't mind you fighting over each other to buy her cosmetic line, of course.
1 Her Entire Family Have Been Protecting Her For Months
Considering the sacrifice Kylie has made for Kim, she is really feeling the love from all her sisters at the moment. Many pictures like above show the girls grouping together but every shot is at the perfect angle to hide their younger sister's growing baby bump.
For once in her life, Kylie is enjoying this pregnancy completely in private. A close friend of the Kardashian-Jenner tribe told US Weekly, "She’s very happy about the pregnancy but she doesn’t want to share this with the world. Her not being out is strictly personal preference. She wants to keep this one aspect of her life private." They added, "She spent her adolescent life on television and has been famous for over 10 years now. If this is the first thing she wants to keep to herself, she should be allowed that."
