Who could forget the intrigue of the marriage and divorce of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt? They were Hollywood’s “Golden Couple’ in the ’90s. Even though they did their best to keep their relationship on the DL since Brad has just gone through a public split with Gwyneth Paltrow, E! News reports that Jennifer later told Diane Sawyer she knew on their first date that they would be an item.

"It was weird. That was a really easy evening,“ Jennifer admitted.

20 Jennifer's Friends Were Concerned About Brad At First

Not everyone was thrilled when they found out that Brad and Jennifer were dating. It seems that Aniston’s closest pals were concerned that he might not have had the right intentions when it came to treating her how she deserved to be treated. Truth be told, they simply didn’t know Brad yet, and in the end, they came around to accepting him.

The jeweller who designed Jennifer’s engagement ring for Brad tried to cash in on their fame. Damiani International was slapped with a $50 million lawsuit because he broke their agreement by reproducing the ring. The contract had stated that the ring would be one of a kind.

According to ABC News, the lawsuit said Damiani had sought to obtain the "purported endorsement and sponsorship of perhaps the world's most recognizable couple." It added, "Damiani essentially made Pitt and Aniston serve as its unwilling shills, hawking its jewelry to potential customers.

15 Brad Is A Private Person When It Comes To Relationships

Once Brad and Jennifer were a couple, they made the decision together to keep their relationship as private as possible. When Jennifer was asked if they were tight-lipped because they were trying to drum up publicity, she was quick to point out that they had decided as a couple to keep their personal professional lives separate during interviews. When it came to wedding planning, Jennifer told Rolling Stone that it was a joint effort between her and Brad. She made it clear that her future husband was involved and didn’t act like he was being forced into anything. They ended up tying-the-knot in a million dollar ceremony that clearly had Brad’s stamp of approval.

“The nice thing about weddings now is it's not just a chick thing. It's a team effort,”

2 Brad Would Try To Discipline The Kids

Eventually, issues strained Angelina and Brad’s marriage. They reportedly disagreed on how to raise their children and they would have screaming matches over it. A source close the family spoke with Us Weekly.

“Brad wants them to have a normal upbringing and worries that they’ll come out spoiled, elitist and not grounded,”

the source said. “But Angie feels they should be ‘children of the world.’ They argue about it all the time: heated, screaming fights.” The source went on to say that Brad had to play bad cop often and would yell at the children. “She would not tolerate him yelling at the kids," the source said.

1 An Incident On A Plane Ended Brad and Angelina's Marriage

Angelina ended her marriage to Brad when things got heated during a flight. In September 2016, the family took a flight from France to Los Angeles. An argument erupted between Brad and Angelina. Maddox stepped in to protect his mom, and that’s when Brad lost it.

An insider told People, “There was a parent-child argument which was not handled in the right way and escalated more than it should have.” The source adds that Pitt did not hurt his son. “He is emphatic that it did not reach the level of getting physical, that no one was physically harmed."
