Everyone is always interested in celeb's lives. Specifically, who is dating who. We love knowing the ins and outs of their relationships and comparing them to our own for fun. When a new celeb couple gets together, they play off of one another and collaborate and work together. This, in turn, makes them much stronger both individually and together.
Because we are so interested in their love stories, their fame grows—usually in a good way but not always. If you ask us, when it comes to celebrities, two is always better than one. Their power and fame when put together can be a force to be reckoned with. Just take a look at Jay Z and Beyoncé. Both were individually powerful but are a mega power couple together. They put a lot more effort into evaluating each other's artistic work, and if there's a right way to do it, they know.
We have seen a ton of celebrity couples whose net worth's risen because of their relationships. Some is a result of their hard work, while others is because of sensationalism and the need for fans to always be in the loop on what's their latest drama or relationship status update. Consequently, some celebrity relationships' motives are debatable. We may find ourselves asking whether they're in it for love or for the fame and fortune. Whichever reason for their boost in popularity, we are always ready for a new celeb couple that will keep us entertained until the next Jay Z and Beyoncé come along.
15 Ice-T and Coco
No one can deny that Ice-T and Coco may be the cutest couple to grace us with their presence. And now that they have added baby Chanel to the mix, we just adore them even more. But little was known about Coco Austin before Ice-T. Bore marrying the rapper, she was a model working in the Playboy Mansion and making appearances in R-Rated films. Now, the mother of one has appeared in shows in Vegas and landed her own reality show with Ice-T. She also has her own lingerie line and is a self confessed fitness guru. With that bod, were not surprised with those two career choices. She is always taking part in some kind of photo-shoot and we cant complain...We love us a bit of Coco and Ice T!
14 Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon
Okay, so we know Nick Cannon did have his own fame before meeting Mimi but after getting together, his popularity seemed to grow substantially after the two got together. The Wild 'n Out star began to dip his toe into presenting in 2009 and has now been the main host on America's Got Talent for years and we love him! We all envied their marriage, but sadly it was not meant to last and now the two co-parent their twins together and are doing a pretty good job. Cannon is now also the co-chair of TeenNick and Chief Creative Officer for Radio Shack and so much more. It seems that all these companies have seem his creative intellect and are taking advantage! We are not surprised with anything he does now, as he has a good head on his shoulders.
13 Ariana Grande and Mac Miller
We have always kept up with Ariana’s relationships because we can never guess who she may like next. It would seem that the singer doesn’t really have a type, and we love that. From having a relationship with Big Sean go south, we were surprised when she was back again with another rapper. This time it was Mac Miller, a young rapper from Pittsburgh. From what we have learned, he has had a tough time in the past with addiction to a major break-up, so its good to see him in a happy relationship with Grande. He is now signed to Warner Bros. Company and has just released his fourth album. It would seem that even though the two of them have endured a lot, they seem to be big support to one another. We love seeing them collaborate together and think it's the sweetest thing!
12 Robert Pattinson and FKA Twiggs
We will forever know Robert Pattinson as the sexy vampire that we all loved as teenagers and why not?! After his relationship with costar Kristen Stewert, Pattinson has been linked to few women. When we saw that he was being seen more and more with one girl, we got intrigued and decided to investigate. FKA Twiggs is an artist from London who has been performing for years. As of 2014, the same year she got with R-Pats, she is signed to a new record company and has been the "It Girl" of music. She is now a popular cover-girl for many magazines and has been photographed at massive events such as the Met Gala in New York. It would seem that she is set to be the breakout star of music for 2017 with her genre-bending style.
11 Kylie Jenner and Tyga
When these two broke up it seemed like all was wrong in celeb-land. They had fought the objections of friends and family to be together and seemed to have a sweet relationship, but sadly it was not meant to be for Jenner and Tyga. While they were together however, the two seemed to delve into many ventures as a duo. For Tyga, Kylie was featured in his music videos and he was in turn featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. We would always see the two shower each other in lavish gifts like luxury cars and goods. When Tyga got his own TV show, Kylie made an appearance on that show as well. Both their popularity grew and the media couldn't keep their eyes off them as their relationship was slightly controversial. Kylie was a minor when they first began dating, and Tyga's ex hated her. All is well now because both have moved on from each other...at least for the moment.
10 Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchinson
This is a couple that shocked the world with their relationship. She was a teenager and he was in his fifties. Something odd here? Well, we can’t say that we're upset over the breakup because they were a bit of a media nightmare when they were together. But that is exactly where their fame had come from. After it was revealed that Courtney was 16 at the time of their wedding, the world wanted to know everything about this wannabe singer/actress. During their time together, they graced the covers of many magazines and after a brief split, reconciled. After five years together, the two finally split again but are still living together...odd. They featured in reality shows and made red carpet appearances at one of the most controversial couples throughout the past ten years.
9 Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga
The Dreamgirls star has always been a favorite of ours. She is beautiful, is a great actress and has a stunning voice. But who is her fiancé, David? Because we here at the TheTalko are reality show lovers, we recognized him instantly from the show I love New York, which is a show where men compete for the affections of a woman named New York. David, a former lawyer, made his way into wrestling after beginning his relationship with Hudson. After much success, David, over a span of seven years is now retired and is a wrestling commentator. He has also very recently started acting and is looking to be starring in a few TV shows over the coming years. He also has two movies in which he has starred, which are supposed to be released sometime this year. To say this man is a jack of all trades would be pretty accurate, don’t you think?
8 Britney Spears and Kevin Federline
How can we forget the fairy tale romance that was Britney and K-Fed? Their turbulent relationship was the thing of a tabloid nightmare and they were always at odds with one another. After three years of marriage, Spears filed for divorce and the two were split up. After his newly found fame, Federline appeared in TV shows and even a movie at one point. In 2006, he released his debut album, but, unsurprisingly, it didn’t hit the top of the charts. After his album flopped, he appeared in a celebrity weight-loss reality show and another American Pie movie, so the reality star is still trying to make the rounds in Hollywood. He is now married to a volleyball player, and, on last count, he has six children, two from each of his exes and two from his current love.
7 Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa
So, we all recognize Amber Rose as the last woman to have Kanye before Kim. While they had a relationship that the media was in love with, it didn’t last very long. She then met rapper Wiz Khalifa, and after a short romance, they had a child and got married. Before marrying Khalifa, the mother of one was known for being "a dancer of the night" and for a few modeling gigs she had done. Now, after their divorce, she has been booked for music videos and reality TV shows. She even has had small roles in film. While with Wiz, she got some inspiration and released her own music featuring the rapper. As of 2017, she has released her own app, written a book and has become an advocate for an anti-sl*t shaming movement. She holds a ‘sl*t walk’ yearly to raise awareness for women being judged by their appearance or promiscuous behavior.
6 Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Everyone knows that Prince Harry cannot be tamed, and he is the rogue of the royals. We did not see it coming when it was revealed he had a new lady love in his life. We just had to know more about the stunning brunette and if she was crown-quality. The California born actress is no stranger when it comes to serious relationships. In fact, she was married and divorced before the Prince. As of 2016, she was the most googled actress, and there is no wondering why. Everyone was keen to know who this woman who stole Harry’s heart was. Markle is a successful TV-show actress and has probably starred in something everyone has seen—the show Suits. She has also featured in films like Get Him To The Greek and Horrible Bosses. We hope that we might see Markle at Buckingham Palace in the future, since they're just far too cute. Imagine her fame then once things get serious...
5 Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick
We know, we know. You already know Kourtney and Scott are the ultimate on and off couple. The two shot to fame on the Kardashian’s reality show and have been growing more popular each day. Before meeting Kourtney, there is not a whole lot known about Disick. Now everyone can’t get enough of him, as he was one of the most entertaining reality show participants. He has been in and out of several rehab facilities for different addictions. He's already been arrested and is a father of three. Disick says that he invests mostly in nightlife and startups, but we know of a few other endeavors. He invested in a failed restaurant in New York. He also released a men’s tanning lotion that seemed like a reflection of the Kardashian’s logo. He now goes by Lord Disick because of his apparent ancestry. Seriously, without Kourtney this dude would of been a nobody.
4 Christiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez
We all thought that Ronaldo would be the forever bachelor, kinda like a DiCaprio of soccer, but the Portuguese player has surprised us. Little is known about the maybe-pregnant 22 year old. What we do know is that she used to work in a Gucci store in Spain before meeting the soccer superstar. Of course, after getting with Ronaldo, she has quit her pedestrian job and has been spotted at his matches bonding with his son. She is also a model but has clearly taken some time out for...personal reasons (that we all know). After the birth of his surrogate twins, it is expected that the former model will play a big part in their lives and maybe help usher in a new addition. Whether they remain together or not is yet to be seen, but, for now, we think they make a gorgeous couple and hope to see more from this fam!
3 Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna
We all know the intense ups and down that came with the infamous couple that was ChyRo, but did anyone else google Blac Chyna like us when they got together? The only thing we knew was that she used to be Tyga’s ex (and is his baby mama) who was pretty sour about him getting with Kylie Jenner. She publicly bashed the teen and her ex. So, you can imagine our surprise when she got with Kylie's brother! We all thought that it was a meaningless fling, but things got serious when the two became engaged and she got pregnant. Their TV show was a bust, and Chyna went about trademarking the Kardashian name for her own benefit...all for love, right?
2 Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris
Everyone will always and remain very interested in Taylor Swift's relationship—mainly because we want a behind the scenes look at what goes into the inspiration for the albums she releases afterwards. When she and superstar DJ Calvin Harris got together, we weren't quite sure what to think and were a little thrown off. When we started to see them together, it was pretty cute and made us want more. The pair attended award shows together and were spotted out on dates, but the fact that they kept their relationship on the DL was what intrigued people. Few know this, but Taylor is actually featured and co-wrote Harris's song "This is What You Came For" featuring Rihanna. Unfortunately, there was even scandals about the song, since initially the collab was kept a secret. Calvin swung back saying she only unveiled it to tear him down. Ouch.
1 Selena Gomez and The Weeknd
Selena Gomez obviously had a very big career prior to her relationship with The Weeknd, Abel Tesfaye. Abel, however, was just on the brink of his successful peek, as he released his Double Platinum album, Starboy. The album also attained the number one spot on Billboard's Canadian Albums Chart. The Starboy: Legend of the Fall Tour is still going! It's definitely debatable whether Abel's success and ability to sell concert tickets was influenced by his relationship with Selena. In regards to their relationship, they were off to a rocky start due to his ex, Bella Hadid, stating that Selena was only in it for the fame...Yet, the couple still seems to be going strong, so we can only wish them the best!
