Social media is so entertaining. We could spend all day scrolling down Instagram and looking at the highlights of everyone’s lives, or we could be retweeting our favorite comedians on Twitter. Plus, you can stalk everyone that you stopped hanging out with after high school on Facebook. Honestly, what’s not to love?

Well, social media can also be kind of toxic. First of all, you can end up comparing your life to other people that you see online and feel really insecure about it. Worse, sometimes people use social media to start a ton of drama. It’s totally unnecessary, and it would save everyone a lot of stress if people could just chill out and stop fighting on social media. When it comes to social media drama, celebrities are some of the worst offenders! Sure, some celebrities are fun to follow, but the 15 celebrities on this list need to log off.

15 Kylie Jenner

Kylie doesn’t go out of her way to start fights on social media, but her posts always seem to stir up controversy. Many people feel that her social media posts, especially on Instagram, are a bad influence for her fanbase of mostly teenage girls. She tends to post photos that are a little too revealing or suggestive, and many young girls are starting to think of her aesthetic as their “goals.” It’s a shame, and she should try to be a better role model for her young fans. All of her posts come off as fake. It’s always modeling shoot after modeling shoot she's never just hanging out around the house or doing anything a normal teenage girl might do. She’s setting expectations way too high, and the image she has created for herself on social media is basically plastic. Kylie, it’s time to put down the phone and just relax.

14 Jaden Smith

Will Smith is a very popular and talented actor, and he’s pretty much universally loved. But his kids are a different story! His daughter, Willow, and his son, Jaden, are both very unique individuals. Now, it’s great that these kids are free to be themselves, but Jaden has basically created a name for himself by being as weird as possible on social media. His tweets are vague, cryptic, and make absolute zero sense. He has been known for tweeting things such as, “How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren’t real?” Well, Jaden, those two things are completely unrelated, so as usual, we’re not sure what the point of that tweet was. Other gems include, “I saw Owen Wilson one time from a distance and we just stared at each other, then his car drove off,” and one tweet that just contained the word, “Chemtrails.” Jaden, you might regret these.

13 Demi Lovato

When it comes to Demi Lovato, you can never tell if she is being sincere or fake. She talks a big game when it comes to self-confidence, but rumors that she used to be a bully have been swirling around Hollywood for years now. She often tweets about mental health and staying positive, but at times, she’s tweeted things that are out of line. For example, when Barbie created a doll modeled after Zendaya, a lot of her fans thought it was a big deal because the Barbie collection is not very diverse. But Demi tried to make the moment all about her by tweeting, “Hey Barbie, what about a curvy Barbie doll or one with true to size measurements? I’ll model!” Demi, when something positive happens for someone else, shouldn’t you be celebrating their accomplishment instead of trying to be the center of attention? Um, spoiler: the answer is yes.

12 Kanye West

Kanye West’s Twitter account can get absolutely wild sometimes. He has quite a temper, and he’s known for just going off on other people when he’s logged in. This has definitely resulted in some bad PR for Kanye, but even though he tries to do damage control sometimes, the Internet never forgets. He went on a huge Twitter rant about Amber Rose, who he used to date, and the two revealed some very personal details to their millions of followers. Kanye also tends to brag a lot on Twitter. For example, he has tweeted about being “the greatest artist alive” and has stated that his tweets are basically contemporary art that not everyone can understand. Nah, Kanye, we get it, you just let your head get way too big after all that fame. It would probably be best for Kanye just to delete his Twitter account entirely, but that will probably never happen.

11 Chris Brown

Look, isn’t everyone pretty much in agreement that Chris Brown is one of the worst human beings in Hollywood? But somehow, this guy still has a career after everything he’s done. It seems like famous guys can get away with anything they do, as long as enough people will still buy their music. Most people know that Chris Brown is pretty widely hated for abusing Rihanna when they dated years ago, but he has not changed his behavior since. He has gotten into weird feuds with Soulja Boy, of all people, on Twitter. But his worst behavior has been on display on Instagram. He was caught in his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran’s Instagram comments, saying nasty things about their relationship and her friends that are definitely not appropriate for Instagram, or anywhere else on the Internet. Chris, stop harassing women online and offline, and maybe check yourself into an anger management program.

10 Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift hasn’t done anything exceptionally annoying lately we're just sick of her. But she has definitely acted up on social media before, especially on Twitter. She got into a little feud with Nicki Minaj after the VMAs, when Nicki spoke up about the fact that white women who looked conventionally beautiful were often treated better in Hollywood than black women. Taylor instantly took offense to this and began tweeting at Nicki, saying that she thought they could support each other. Taylor, you totally missed the point. And yes, this incident was a long time ago, but honestly, everyone needs a break from Taylor Swift. Plus, she’s supposedly planning on releasing an album that includes more rap and R&B. So we would prefer that she delete her social media accounts before we have to listen to that. Maybe she needs a break from the Internet as much as we need a break from her.

9 Scott Disick

Scott is known for being one of the snarkiest in the Kardashian crew, and he always cracks us up with his crazy one-liners on the show. But when it comes to social media, he is basically inept. He has had some very public faux-pas that were pretty embarrassing for someone with millions of followers. For example, it’s well-known that celebrities are sponsored by companies that will pay them to promote things. But they usually try to be subtle about this, and they generally are supposed to just casually display the product in a post without revealing that they have been sponsored. However, Scott seems to have missed that memo. While promoting a weight loss shake, Scott accidentally posted all the instructions from the company in the caption! His followers could clearly see that he was being paid to post at 4 pm, he tried to delete it, but the Internet remembers.

8 Iggy Azalea

Apparently, Iggy Azalea is dropping new music now after a long hiatus. While she’s had some catchy hits, her social media accounts have come under fire multiple times. Before she really blew up, Iggy had posted a series of racist tweets that a few sleuths uncovered after “Fancy” began getting a lot of radio play. For example, she tweeted “Just saw 5 black men get arrested outside of Popeyes #stereotypes.” Um, Iggy, maybe think before you tweet? Even though she got dragged for this, she never learned her lesson, going on to tweet “Asian women abuse false eyelashes” and stating that Mexican women have “box bodies.” She hasn’t posted anything too controversial lately, but since she’s releasing new music, she might be back in the spotlight soon, and people will probably start to do some digging for more tweets that step out of line. Probably best to just delete her account.

7 Rita Ora

Does anyone really remember who Rita Ora is? She hasn’t had a big hit in a while, but she did release some catchy summer pop hits a few years ago. Yes, she appeared in the 50 Shades movies, but her music has not been doing well on the American market. Since then, however, she hasn’t attracted much attention. But that hasn’t stopped her from trying to find her way back into the spotlight. Unfortunately, her failure to do so was broadcast all over Twitter. In 2014, she tweeted that she would release her new song if her tweet got over 100,000 retweets. Unfortunately, the tweet barely earned 2,000 retweets, which clearly embarrassed her. So she decided to just claim that her Twitter had been hacked, which everyone knew was just a cover up. Look, Rita, if your fans don’t support you on social media, maybe you’d be better off without it.

6 Kourtney Kardashian

Kourtney doesn’t post anything too offensive or annoying on social media, but sometimes, we still wish she would log off Twitter. Why? Well, her whole feed comes off as pretty fake. She tends to post a lot about childcare and other topics related to being a mom, as well as healthy recipes and tips for taking care of your home. However, it’s obvious that Kourtney never has to worry about that kind of thing. The entire Kardashian family must have an army of assistants that can help them with all of the boring domestic stuff that the rest of us have to do on our own. She obviously has nannies to take care of her kids, and it’s unlikely that the Kardashians do a lot of cooking for themselves. So, maybe Kourtney doesn’t need to get off social media completely but just be a little more real with her followers.

5 Alec Baldwin

Alec Baldwin was super funny on Thirty Rock, and now he’s kind of making a comeback by playing Donald Trump on SNL. Sure, his skits are hilarious, but his social media accounts sometimes cross the line from funny to just plain insane. Baldwin is known for going on Twitter rants that are completely unnecessary, and it’s pretty embarrassing for a grown man with a successful acting career! Baldwin once began tweeting angrily because a flight attendant told him to stop playing Words With Friends when the plane was about to take off. Is that really worth the energy? No. He also went on another even angrier Twitter rant when someone accused him of behaving inappropriately at a funeral. Let’s make one thing clear it's awkward enough when a young celebrity behaves like this for the world to see, but when an adult does it, it’s just absolutely cringe-worthy on a new level.

4 Azealia Banks

When it comes to Azealia Banks and social media, we truly do not know where to begin. We’re honestly amazed that she has not been banned from Twitter forever because she has gone on so many nasty Twitter rants that she’s probably offended everyone on the website at some point. She went on an incredibly racist rant directed at Zayn Malik, using nasty slurs, and ended up getting suspended. However, she is back online now, and oddly enough, she often tweets about the importance of fighting racism in our society. She could start with her own Twitter account. But the worst thing that she has posted online has to be a video of herself sacrificing chickens in her closet. Yup, that is her ritual for finding “inspiration” for her music. She is no longer verified on Twitter after all the stunts that she’s pulled, and maybe she’ll be banned at some point.

3 James Franco

James Franco might have an attractive face and come off as funny and charming in the roles he plays, but do not be fooled. He’s not cute, he’s just creepy, and his activity on social media is what exposed him. Franco was caught posting in a young girl’s Instagram comments, asking if she was eighteen yet, and it’s pretty clear that he was trying to hook up with her. It turned out the girl was underage, which made him look REALLY bad. However, his career hasn’t really suffered because of it, even though he exposed himself as a huge creep. He claimed that the whole thing was a publicity stunt for an upcoming film, but that explanation sounds a little fishy. Look, if you just can’t stop yourself from commenting on underage girls’ pictures, maybe it’s best for you to log off forever before someone has to call the police.

2 Beyonce

You might be wondering what Beyonce could have ever done to earn herself a spot on this list. It’s not that she’s annoying on social media, but we just can’t look at her posts without dying of jealousy. It’s just not fair! She’s basically a queen, and whenever one of her posts comes up on Instagram, our own lives seem so drab and boring in comparison. How could we ever compete with her? Whether it’s an incredible video of her dancing like a boss, or a cute picture of herself with Blue, or her breathtaking maternity photo shoot, it just makes everyone green with envy. Will our lives ever be that cool? No, probably not, but a girl can dream. And once she has those twins, we won’t be able to look away the adorable factor will be almost too much to handle. Beyonce, just delete for a day to give us a breather.

1 Donald Trump

The worst celebrity on social media? Donald Trump, a.k.a. the President of the United States. It’s a shame, but it’s just the truth. It’s pretty clear that the White House staffers really need to take his phone away because his tweets are just out of control. Some people are honestly worried that he might land himself in the history books as the first president to start a war over a tweet. With each day that goes by and no sign of him calming down, it just seems like someone needs to shut down his account before he gets the United States into some serious conflict. His tweets make him look so unprofessional, and he has not shown any signs of changing since the campaign. If you can’t control yourself on Twitter, you shouldn’t be logging on! It’s time for Trump to sign out and stop subjecting us to his rants.
