Some pretty interesting things happen when a small child is a celebrity from birth. They tend to wear pretty outrageous clothing, and like every single kid in the world, they say and do really weird, funny things that are even weirder and funnier when they're in said outfits. The overall idea of children being in the media so much is kind of creepy since it's not like they're old enough to actually want that kind of attention, but such is the life when you're born to super wealthy, famous parents. North West happens to be one of those kids, with mom being Kim Kardashian and dad being Kanye West. Maybe you've heard of them. North has only been alive for two years but she's been pretty busy and luckily for us, she's had some adorable moments. Here are our 12 favorite North West moments.
12 When She Tried To Contour Her Face
North West probably sees a lot of makeup application happening, what with her contour queen of a mother Kim and a whole lot of other relatives with full faces of makeup on the daily. It makes sense that at some point, the toddler would try it out for herself. Most kids get into their mom's lipstick at some point, but North went straight for the contouring kit, possibly already knowing the power of a strongly defined and properly highlighted cheek bone. It actually went okay, but not great. Don't worry, North, that's what makeup artists are for.
11 When North And Penelope Had A Serious Talk
North and her cousin Penelope Disick seem to be serious best friends, but one day at ballet class, the tone of their conversation took a serious turn. At least that's what we can assume from the fact that North is cradling her head in exasperation and then tossing her hands out in total disbelief. It's hard to imagine what's really happening here, but at one point it looks like North is telling Penelope to slow down. Whatever got North all riled up led to some pretty adorable photos. Maybe she inherited some of Kanye's sass.
10 When She Scowled
North scowling at the paparazzi got the perfect shot for all of those "mood" posts that people put on their social media when they're feeling a certain way. It's really cute and funny for a toddler to make such an aggressive face, but it's also kind of weird because she's making it at the paparazzi which means she's probably pretty annoyed at them quite often. She just can't even.
9 When She Wore Balmain To Ballet Class
Not only did North arrive for ballet class in a Balmain outfit, but it was a custom one at that. All of the Kardashian/Jenners and their closest friends seem to be a part of the Balmain army and besties with designer Olivier Rousteing so it makes sense that North would also get in on the action... even if she can only fit into her custom coat for two months or so.
8 The Time She Went Diva On The Paparazzi
Okay, maybe diva is a stretch because her tiny baby voice is adorable and missing any attitude driven inflections, but someone clearly taught North how to deal with the paparazzi. Watch the video to hear her tell the paps "I said no pictures please" on her way into ballet class with the nanny and then hear the paparazzi laughing in a "holy crap can't believe we caught that on tape" sort of way.
7 The Time She Fell Down At Toys R Us
On March 5, Kim Kardashian and little North were visiting the Toys R Us in Woodland Hills when the unthinkable happened... North fell. And not only did she fall, she totally face planted. It probably hurt but it's actually sort of a good move on her part to kick off a shopping spree, since nothing makes a boo boo feel better quite like a massive stash of brand new toys, am I right?
6 When She Ruined One Of Kanye's Albums
Kim Kardashian recently revealed that Kanye recorded the first version of The Life Of Pablo onto his cellphone, and for some reason didn't back it up anywhere. Then fate struck in the form of average toddler behavior when North decided to flush the phone down the toilet. We've all basically accidentally dropped our phone in the toilet so we know that water and iPhones just don't mix. So of course Kanye lost all of his raps and had to start all over again. Sorry Dad.
5 When She Had A Fashion Week Meltdown
Naturally North West sat front row on mom's lap to watch her dad's ADIDAS show at New York Fashion Week, but she definitely wasn't having fun. Any kid is probably going to have an afternoon meltdown for no reason at all, but force them to sit still in a public place and it's not surprising that things got sour. But since she is North West and she was seated next to Beyonce and Anna Wintour at the time, the moment got a lot of press.
4 When She Sparked New Street Style Trends
North is pretty much always wearing something that us adults would die to wear if it would fit, but some of her most stylish moments definitely stand out. Her look wearing white and pastel pink with a fur coat and baseball hat literally lead to some adults copying it right down to the lollipop. Have you ever felt this cool running errands?
3 The Time She Fell Down And Kim Didn't Even Look
Hey, Kim Kardashian is a busy woman, but that fact was unfortunately made pretty clear when North fell down at the playground... and her mom didn't even look up from her phone. Oops. To be fair, her aunt Kourtney was already on the ground watching her, so Kim knew she was in good hands, and kids fall all the time and it generally doesn't mean disaster. Somehow, someone caught this moment on their phone and posted it on Instagram in an attempt to shame Kim.

If we ever need a reminder that North is just a normal kid despite the extremely abnormal life she has been born into, we can look back and chuckle at her love for her Frozen luggage.
