Kate and Edwina Sharma will be joining this season of Bridgerton, played by Ashley Simon and Charithra Chandran are joining season 2 as leading ladies. From the teasers, it seems that Simon who plays Kate is Anthony's new love interest, she also seems like a badass from pictures of her holding a rifle during a hunt.
8 Find Out What Happens To Lady Whistledown
It was revealed at the end of season 1 that Lady Whistledown has an unlikely identity, Penelope, Eloise Bridgerton's best friend who was not to mention heartbroken by Eloise's older brother who choose not to marry yet and does not seem to notice Penelope.
Her character is the perfect identity for Lady Whistledown because she has all the town gossip, and goes unnoticed. Surely she will be presenting more gossip and shade this season.

If season 1 was any sign of the level of steaminess that the books and series are willing to go, hopefully, season 2 keeps its promises. It is a big reason that fans are so hooked on the plot, to see who will end up with who, that is the point of the summer social season anyways.
