We aren’t here to tell anyone that parenting is the easiest gig in the world. There are plenty of challenges that come along with it. Taking care of kids full-time is a hard thing to handle, especially when someone is also juggling work and family life.
Celebrities have it a little bit easier though. They generally have the money to hire nannies if they need to. Some of them could even quit their acting or performing careers and stay home with their kids. Not everyone wants to do that though, and we get it. This is why some celebs choose not to have kids.
Naturally, there will be some great parents and some not-so-good ones. It’s like that in every area of the world around us, but we can definitely see it more clearly in celebrity lifestyles. Some of them just aren’t cut out to be parents. While sometimes both people in the relationship might have issues that make us think they aren’t ready for kids, other times it’s just one of the two.
Let’s take a look at some celebrity couples who should have kids and will totally rock it. Then we’ll see some other celebs may not be ready.

Anyone who has seen This Is Us will agree that Mandy Moore would do an absolutely stellar job of being a mom. Sure, that role is only where she plays a mom on a TV show. We still love her off the screen as well, and her attitude and personality just make her seem like she could handle a kid.
Moore is engaged to marry Taylor Goldsmith, and the two of them seem like a great pair. Adding a little one to their mix would probably work out for the best for them.
If Moore’s role as a TV mom isn’t enough evidence that she would rock the mommy gig, just take a look around Hollywood. There are so many other celebs who just wouldn't be cut out for it. But Mandy definitely has our vote to start having kiddos asap.

Miley Cyrus likes to live life on the wild side. There’s nothing wrong with this, but she doesn't seem to be cut out to be a mama anytime soon. She is settling down and getting married to Liam Hemsworth soon, though.
The two have been dating off and on for a little while, after meeting in 2009. Clearly, their relationship has not been smooth sailing.
Hopefully, getting hitched will help them to take it easy. Hemsworth and Cyrus are apparently planning on starting a family in 2018. Whether this is a wise choice or not, don't have the answers. We hope that they wait a little while so that they have time to get some things sorted out. It’s said that they have wanted a baby for a while now, but we don’t know how this will turn out.

Unfortunately, it sometimes seems like the people who would truly be the best parents just can’t have kids. Fertility difficulties don’t discriminate and can affect anyone.
Even celebrities struggle to have kids, regardless of how much money they have. They have access to top-notch medical professionals, but sometimes that just isn’t enough.
Maria Menounos and her fiancé Keven Undergaro have been trying to conceive for a while now. Menounos has been going through IVF treatments for months with no positive results. Eventually, she stopped taking them, and we haven’t heard anything about their baby journey since. We just know she’d love to have a child. After waiting so long, she would surely be a great mama! We are hopeful that Menounos and Undergaro will end up having a little one in the near future, but who knows?

We’ve always known that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are a little bit different. They just have their quirks, and that’s okay. Mary-Kate is now married to Olivier Sarkozy. They got hitched in 2015 and are still going strong. This may come as a shock to some because he is 17 years older than her. We’d think there would be some complications with that.
Not to mention, the duo just seems odd. A lot of it probably has to do with Olsen and her background of being so unique. Their careers also seem to be quite different from each other’s, which could explain how they ended up together—opposites attract! Sarkozy is a banker, and Olsen is a fashion designer. Olsen has recently shared that she’s ready to start a family. We're not sure the world is ready to see an Olsen baby just yet.

Though Ellen DeGeneres has explicitly stated that she and Portia De Rossi don’t want kids, we think that they would be awesome moms! Back in 2013, DeGeneres spoke with people about having kids. She said, “Honestly, we'd probably be great parents. But it's a human being, and unless you think you have excellent skills and have a drive or yearning in you to do that, the amount of work that that is and responsibility—I wouldn't want to screw them up! We love our animals."
We get that they don’t want to have kids, and we don’t blame them. Their reasons are legitimate. Something about their relationship and their love for their animals tells us that they would be amazing at loving a child. Plus, they seem like a blast to be around!

Neither Justin Bieber nor Selena Gomez has showcased their shining moments when they have been dating each other. Their relationship has always seemed a little bit rough, and it’s been so off and on as well. It's proven they don’t necessarily have the stability for a child at this time—or anytime in the foreseeable future.
Bieber has had his fair share of drama in his life. His past issues and violence don’t sell him as being the world’s best dad. Gomez herself might not be so bad, but it takes two to start a family.
If they had a baby, that kid would have daddy issues from the get-go! On the bright side, Gomez and Bieber might not be dating long enough to get pregnant before they break things off again.

Over the years, we’ve seen lots of rumors about Jennifer Aniston and her personal life. Some of these have been about relationships and scandals. Others have been about pregnancies, and that’s what we’re focusing on for right now. So many times, people have said things about Aniston not being able to conceive. They’ve also started rumors saying that she is pregnant.
Whatever the case is when it comes to her fertility, she’s got a good head on her shoulders. We’re sure her husband—Justin Theroux—is sticking by her side through it all. Aniston has talked about having kids, and she said, "But I’m not in pursuit of motherhood because I feel incomplete in some way, as our celebrity news culture would lead us all to believe." At least if they decide to start a family, it will be for good reasons.

Ever since Paris Hilton was young, she’s been a party animal. This ends up getting her into some trouble. Just think of One Night in Paris. It's been proven that this wild Hilton chick may have calmed down recently. She did manage to get engaged to Chris Zylka, so she can’t be so wild anymore—unless he is, too.
Because of the Hilton lifestyle being so crazy, bringing a baby in the mix may not be in their best interest.
Although, with the recent engagement, babies could definitely be the next step. In an interview in November 2017, they shared how excited they are to be starting a family. Maybe the marriage is just what Hilton needs to learn how to settle down. We can also hope that Zylka will be able to help with that!

For those who don’t know, Gabrielle Union is another celeb who is desperately trying to have a baby. She’s been married to Dwyane Wade—a professional basketball player—for years. Wade has a couple of kids from a previous marriage, and they are one of the reasons that Union wants to become a mom. Before she got to know the stepkids, she didn’t want to have kids of her own.
Since they began trying to conceive, Union has gone through nearly a dozen miscarriages. She has been receiving IVF treatments with no success. We think she and Wade would make great parents, if they get the shot at it. Union spoke on behalf of herself and her husband, saying that they “remain bursting with love and ready to do anything to meet the child we’ve both dreamed of.”

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have had their ups and downs over time. Most recently, they were met with the challenge of Taylor’s unfaithfulness. Long story short, he cheated on Cartwright, denied everything, and then admitted it later on. Bless Cartwright’s innocent heart—she forgave him and their relationship was saved.
There was also an audio message saved where Taylor said some not-so-nice things about his girlfriend. He specifically said that he would never propose to her and that he wouldn’t have children with her either.
Whether or not he meant what he said, it seems these two aren't cut out for the whole family thing. We’ll see if their relationship can make it long enough for them to have a chance at having a kid. It really doesn't seem it'll happen anytime soon!

The Duggar family is known for having 19 kids—as the show 19 Kids & Counting suggests. This family is notorious for having extremely conservative and Christian values. For example, many of their children don’t kiss their partners before marriage. Most of the Duggars who have gone off and got married have stuck to their parents’ guidelines.
It seems that Jinger Vuolo—formerly Duggar—has other plans though. She has abandoned many of her parents’ rules since she got married to Jeremy Vuolo. She now wears jeans. Also, she hasn’t gotten pregnant yet. This makes us think she’s using birth control, which is frowned upon in the family. All of her sisters and sisters-in-law have become pregnant immediately after they got married.
We’re glad that Jinger and her husband are playing it safe, enjoying life and waiting until they’re ready to become parents!

Lindsay Lohan is another celebrity who has been having a little bit too much fun. Even though her parents are mostly to blame for her rough lifestyle, she’s got to take some responsibility at some point. Luckily, there hasn't been a lot of wild news from Lohan recently. It’s about time for some rumors to break through!
It's unclear if settling down is in Lohan’s future, but there's hope that her taking it easy wouldn’t result in a baby. She’s pretty unpredictable at times, though. There haven’t been many updates on her relationship status, but it doesn’t seem like she’s been in a committed relationship recently.
It may not be in Lohan's best interest to have a baby in this moment. It's definitely been proven that she’s got some craziness in her genes which in turn can be passed along to her future child.

A baby doesn’t need to be dragged into celeb drama!

For those who know about Robin Thicke’s very public allegations in 2017, there will be little question as to why many think he’s unfit to become a father—again. Thicke was previously married to Paula Patton, and the two had a son together. They finalized their divorce in 2015 after these allegations surfaced.
Thicke is now with April Love Geary, and he has probably moved past his unfavorable history. Unfortunately, a lot of the public can't forget about his history.
Geary is pregnant, and their child will be born sometime in 2018. All anyone can do is only hope that Thicke has cleaned up his act over the past couple of years. If not, he better get going on that. Maybe it was only the alcohol and illegal substances that made him crazy toward his wife and son. That may be wishful thinking.

Because of all of the work they’ve been through, we know they’ll be fantastic parents.

Taylor Swift switches between men about as often as she changes her clothes or her music genre. She doesn’t seem very consistent in anything, so it’s no surprise that she recently started dating a new guy. His name is Joe Alwyn. Nobody has yet to hear whether or not this a long-term relationship or not, but anything can happen.
A lot of people are just hopeful that Swift doesn’t end up pregnant—no matter whose baby it is. She may be a new and improved version of herself, but having a baby Swift around at the moment may be too much to handle.
It’s probably best that she doesn’t have a kiddo right now. Plus, it would take away from her career, which would just be tragic. There’s a chance that she could settle down with Alwyn, but it doesn’t seem likely. Her track record definitely proves otherwise!

Even though they just got engaged, we have a feeling that a baby can’t be too far down the road. Prince Harry and his new fiancé Meghan Markle will be tying the knot in May 2018, so it’s approaching quickly. What’s in store for this new couple?
One source has shared that Prince Harry and his lady will likely have kids in the future, but they want to enjoy their marriage for the time being. There is still plenty of time for them to start a family.
We think they would be awesome parents just because of the way that their relationship seems to work. They seem to have such a great thing going so far, and their marriage will prove it even further. There’s no reason they wouldn’t be good at the parenting gig, too!

Oprah once shared, “If I had kids, my kids would hate me...They would have ended up on the equivalent of The Oprah Show talking about me; because something [in my life] would have had to suffer and it would've probably been them." There's no doubting that they could be good parents, but we know it’s best that they didn’t end up having any!

Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner tied the knot in 2013, but they still haven’t made the leap into parenthood. Usually, we would be expecting an announcement by now, but it seems like that just isn’t their thing.
Tomlin explained her attitude about having kids and said, "I really do like kids, but there wouldn’t have been room in my life to raise children. I was so involved with my career and I would have had to give up the career in large part because I could not possibly have shortchanged the child...it’s hard to raise children and to do right by them. There are too many kids anyway. There are too many people."
We’re glad that she—and Wagner—can be honest about this. It's always so refreshing to hear.
