Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama split almost two years ago, and our hearts are still broken over their split. Demi and Wilmer both took to Instagram with their statement and shared with the world their breakup announcement. They posted, “After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship. This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends. We will always be supportive of one another.” Demi opened up about her relationship with Wilmer in her documentary, Simply Complicated, and according to Elite Daily the star said this, “I think my heart is always with Wilmer. I think it was with Wilmer. I think that it is with Wilmer, and I think that it will be… You don’t share six years with somebody and not give them a piece of your heart, and [vice] versa. Rumors that Kylie Jenner was pregnant pretty much consumed the year of 2017. We watched her Instagram, patiently waiting for an official announcement and for months all was baggy t-shirts, photos cropped above rumored baby bump, and pictures of her stylish manicures. We almost gave up, but the hints were everywhere. She skipped the Christmas photo shoot, she had the most clothes on in the Kardashian Jenner Calvin Klein campaign, and she wasn’t making any public appearances. And then, on February 4th she took to Instagram to confirm what we all kind of knew was true. She posted, “I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free, and healthy way I knew how.” Kylie gave birth to a baby girl Stormi and posted a sweet video of all the baby bump action we had missed out on. Khloe Kardashian, like sister Kylie, also took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy. She posted a bump pic, and captioned a photo, “My greatest dream realized! We are having a baby! I had been waiting and wondering…I still at times can’t believe that our love created life! Tristan, thank you for loving me the way that you do! Thank you for treating me like a Queen! Thank you for making me feel beautiful at all stages! Tristan, most of all, thank you for making me a MOMMY!!! You have made this experience even more magical than I could have envisioned! I will never forget how wonderful you’ve been to me during this time!” Cue the irony. Before Khloe delivered baby True, cheating allegations and rumors went into full effect, with videos and photos to back up claims. Khloe has been uncharacteristically quiet on social media, only posting a few ‘grams since giving birth, and only returning to Snapchat after True turned one month old. Taylor Swift recently kicked off her Reputation tour and so today we're taking a look at someone who tried to hurt hers. We all remember when Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift were a thing, and sure, maybe none of us really understood it, but we knew that we loved the swan float picture at least. Now, we're not exactly saying this was a social media breakup announcement, but rather a confirmation that things were so over and that they were probably never ever, ever getting back together. The drama started over Calvin Harris' hit track "This Is What You Came For," which featured Rihanna. Calvin took to Twitter to post, "I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially, she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym. Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though. I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex-bf down for something to do." Harsh! 1 Arie And Lauren Play April Fools' Pregnancy Announcement
Okay! This one is obviously kind of cheating, but we had to mention this stunt because fans of The Bachelor went crazy over this fake Twitter pregnancy announcement. Let's face it, Arie Luyendyk has been making headlines since he proposed to two girls in one season, sorry Becca. Arie took to Twitter to post a picture of a woman who basically seemed to be Lauren holding a baby bump and captioned it, "Secrets finally out, we have a bunny in the oven!" He tagged Lauren in the post and we were all fooled. He took to social media an hour or so later to admit it was just a prank...fans were upset, to say the least. It seems a bit harsh to breakup with Becca on national TV, but then to be all over Lauren all over social media and make a pregnancy announcement - cringe. Fans pointed out that lots of women struggle with infertility and to joke about a pregnancy really isn't funny, but actually pretty messed up. According to Us Weekly Magazine, "Luyendyk issued an official apology on Twitter, 'I do have sympathy for women struggling with infertility. My April Fools prank was in no way meant to offend women who struggle with that. I apologize if you were affected personally by my post.'"
