I think one of the biggest milestones we watch out for these days as fans of celebrities in Hollywood is an announcement or "Breaking News" article about someone being pregnant, right behind their lavish weddings and heartbreaking (and sometimes dramatic) divorces. And now, with social media turning into a mega hub of the industry, stars are coming up with the cutest pregnancy announcements for Instagram, Facebook, and more.
Of course, judgment is a natural human behavior, so it isn't any surprise that we make comments about how wonderful this actress looked when she was pregnant or how this singer didn't look so hot during her pregnancy days. Below, we highlight the ten hottest women in Hollywood that hit pregnancy style out of the park, as well as six women that could have tried a little harder to look decent. Just remember, regardless, pregnancy is a beautiful miracle that makes every woman stronger! But the real A+ is for effort.
16 Could Have Tried Harder: Jessica Biel The Sinner Star's Sweatpants Style Falls Short
Many of us love Jessica Biel for her classic portrayal of Mary Camden on the long-running series, 7th Heaven. She went on to make several blockbuster hits and fall in love with our favorite boy band member, Justin Timberlake. In early 2015, many fans speculated that she was pregnant with their first child. Before long, she started showing off her baby bump in simple styles such as jeans, a pair of booties, and a loose sweater. However, as she moved further along in her pregnancy, she started wearing baggy sweatpants and loose-fitting clothes, often finishing off her homely look with a pair of sneakers. For whatever the reason may be, it seems that Biel just fell short in wowing us with her pregnancy style, albeit even if she was just running errands or going grocery shopping. I'll give her a B- in effort here, because I think she is still beautiful and, well, she had JT's baby!
15 Looking Hot: Kristin Cavallari Perfect Pregnancy Style
Laguna Beach alum Kristin Cavallari made her debut as a sexy and charismatic teenager that was one-third of the show's love triangle and center of the drama. Lucky for us, Cavallari grew out of her dramatic and sometimes malicious ways and married NFL quarterback, Jay Cutler. They went on to have three beautiful children, two boys and a little girl. Throughout all three pregnancies, the style diva always dressed to impress, whether for a high-profile event or for a day of errands in L.A. or Chicago. Her chic style has always kept up with the trends, often knowing (and creating) them for the rest of society. Bonus points for looking amazing while pregnant wearing a bikini, there's definitely not enough women in Hollywood that can pull that look off!
14 Could Have Tried Harder: Ashlee Simpson-Ross All Black Everything (Snooze)
Ashlee Simpson-Ross used to just be known as the little sister of famous singer, and eventual actress and designer, Jessica Simpson. Ashlee decided to boldly step out of her sister's shadow and break out on her own, releasing her own album and diving into the world of fashion as well as Broadway acting. She has two children, a boy with fellow singer and ex-husband Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy and a little girl with her current husband, actor Evan Ross. With both pregnancies, Simpson-Ross failed to wow us with her style, however. She often would wear just workout clothes, loose-fitting tank tops, or sweatpants while running errands. And, even when making special appearances at certain events, she would go with the basic black dress, accentuating her bump. Albeit not entirely unstylish, Simpson-Ross still didn't get a perfect score with her boring all-black ensembles. I'd give her a B+ though, because Pieces of Me is still a great album, and although black is boring, it can be sexy!
13 Looking Hot: Vanessa Lachey Simple But Chic
Vanessa Minnillo started her hosting/acting career in 2001. She participated in special events like Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and MTV New Year's Eve Show in 2004. She had small parts on hit television series like CSI:NY, How I Met Your Mother, and 30 Rock, and went on to marry 98-degrees member, Nick Lachey. They had their first child in late 2012 and have had two more bundles of joy since then. Throughout her three pregnancies, Vanessa Lachey impressed us with her flowy maxi dresses and cute heels-- and kudos to her for wearing heels! The brunette always looked put-together whether she was out on a lunch date or acting on set. The sexy mama is currently competing on Dancing with the Stars (against her husband) and, let me tell you, she has not lost her shine or her sex appeal! 12 Looking Hot: Lauren Conrad Pregnancy Goals
The Hills are alive with the sound of... a beautiful and healthy baby boy-- and a sexy momma to boot! The Hills star Lauren Conrad wed William Tell in California in mid-September 2014. Her fans were so happy that she was happy, after watching her love life constantly suffer between Stephen Coletti and Jason Wahler (and I still can't believe she didn't go to Paris!). Then, as time usually does, it went fast and, before we knew it, Conrad announced on Instagram that she was pregnant on New Year's Day 2017. Fans cheered, her friends rejoiced, and we all watched in awe as she wowed us with her chic style. This is no surprise, of course, considering she is a famous fashion designer. Conrad mostly stayed out of the spotlight during her pregnancy, however, when she was out and about, she adorned her baby bump in beautiful lace dresses and trendy maxi dresses. No surprise here: the 16-year old avid Laguna Beach watcher in me is giving Conrad an A+ for pregnancy style!
11 Could Have Tried Harder: Kim Kardashian Not Her Best Looks
I couldn't create this list without mentioning at least one of the Kardashians. In this case, I refuse to say anything negative about Kourtney and Khloe's pregnancy style has yet to be revealed to us, so Kim it is! We knew her for many years as Paris Hilton's sidekick, until E! had the surprisingly popular hit television show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kim and her sisters, along with half-sisters Kendall and Kylie, burst onto the scene. Now, they are pillars in the world of entertainment. We watched Kim marry, and then divorce, basketball star Kris Humphries. Before we knew it, she was dating famous rapper Kanye West and pregnant with their first child. Unfortunately, her taste in style for accentuating her baby bump weren't always chic or flattering. She usually only wore the color black (boring) and never something stylish. Add a scarf! Add a cute kitten heel! Please!
10 Looking Hot: Reese Witherspoon Legally Blonde and Legally Hot!
Get it girl! Look at that Elle Woods-esque bright red dress! Reese Witherspoon was married to Ryan Philippe for just seven years, but they had two beautiful children together during that time, which was lucky for us because she did not disappoint in the hot and sexy pregnant actress department! Always stylish and chic, Witherspoon even amped up the hot factor while rocking her baby bump(s), wearing bold colors, cute shoes (go girl!), and trendy dresses. After her divorce from Philippe in 2006, Witherspoon eventually remarried Jim Toth and had a third child with him in late 2012, which gave us yet another round of sexy shoes and stylish outfits for us Witherspoon fans for nine more months! A+ Mrs. Toth, you rock!
9 Could Have Tried Harder: Jennifer Garner Ultimately Underwhelming
However, another atrocity of equal or lesser value is Jennifer Garner's pregnancy style, as depicted above. Garner had small roles in movie hits like Dude, Where's My Car? and Pearl Harbor, before landing the lead role in the chick flick 13 Going On 30. Now she is a staple in the entertainment industry, especially after her marriage (and subsequent divorce) to Ben Affleck. However, as cute and stylish as she can be, her pregnancy style often fell flat with little to no effort. Gym sneakers, baggy jeans, and bland sweaters seemed to be her routine outfits. Even though Garner often has simple styles, she still would always look put-together and sunny, but for whatever reason, that did not transfer over to her pregnancy style. B- for Garner, though, because she did snag a sexy Affleck, at least for a little while.
8 Looking Hot: Gwen Stefani In Plaid Perfection
Stefani is best known for her lead singing in the famous pop band No Doubt. She is also a successful fashion designer and now is a coach on the hit reality show The Voice. While married to Gavin Rossdale, Stefani had three boys from 2006-2014-- and for each pregnancy Stefani went bananas-- in all the best ways! Her style was quirky, yet unique and trendy. For example, a simple pair of jeans and a gray tee is dressed up with red stilettos and a plaid jacket for a look that is effortless yet stylish! I think the key is to have staple pieces (as all of us fashionistas know) and Stefani no doubt is knowledgeable about that (pun intended). Not only is the star age-less but apparently she can pull anything off no matter what her size is, we're forever jealous.
7 Could Have Tried Harder: Drew Barrymore Not-Hot Style Award
Drew Barrymore is a Hollywood mainstay in the world of acting. She is also an entrepreneur, photographer, and spokesperson for the U.N. and their fight against world hunger. In other words, she is a rockstar! On top of that she is a mom of two daughters whom she co-parents with actor Will Kopelman (they recently got divorced in 2016). During her pregnancies, however, Barrymore wasn't exactly on the top list of style stars. She often wore funky and quirky dresses that did not accentuate her bump as well as they could have. Like in the picture above, Barrymore wears a busy floral dress that falls flat on the style radar, no matter how beautiful or radiant she may have looked. During other events, Barrymore would often just wear leggings and a long tunic or other funky-patterned dresses. When running errands, Barrymore would wear simple styles like a sweater with a pair of loose boyfriend jeans, but unlike Stefani, she would not dress them up with timeless staple pieces, often looking bland and boring as a result.
6 Looking Hot: Angelina Jolie Radiant and Glowing
We were used to the successful and world-renowned actress, along with her longtime beau Brad Pitt, going down the adoption route when it came to starting and expanding their family, so many around the world were shocked when she announced in early 2008 that she was pregnant-- and with twins, nonetheless! Everyone watched closely to see how the chic yet simple styled star would adorn her growing baby bump and we were not at all let down. Her sex appeal didn't waver, nor did her timeless fashion habits. Her and Pitt walked several red carpets and each outfit wowed again and again. The activist always looked professional and radiant. This is most certainly a grade A for effort for Ms. Jolie! She rocks her pregnancy bod out doing errands or on the red carpet, we love how glowing she looks at all times!
5 Looking Hot: Carrie Underwood Country Crooner's Cute Pregnancy Style
Is there something in the water in Oklahoma? Carrie Underwood is one of my favorite stars of all-time-- not to mention mega-hot! Not only is she genuine and down-to-earth, but she has the style and the pipes to match. Underwood rose to fame when she won the 4th season of American Idol in 2005. The last 12 years she has grown up in front of our eyes, not only has her music matured, but she also gotten married and had a beautiful son with hockey player Mike Fisher. Her style has evolved, too, starting from cute country bumpkin to beautifully elegant superstar. When she was pregnant in late 2014, the star donned many stunning outfits along red carpets, during music award shows, and more. Dressed up or dressed down, Underwood never failed to impress us with her stylish fashion choices to adorn her growing baby bump!
4 Looking Hot: Blake Lively Sexy in Saffron
Probably one of the sexiest and most gorgeous stars to grace us with her talent and beauty, Blake Lively never fails to knock it out of the park when it comes to trendy, stylish, and more-than-perfect fashion sense! (Come to think of it, I don't think I have ever seen her look terrible.)
Lively rose to fame playing promiscuous teenager Serena VanDerWoodsen on Gossip Girl, as well as sassy and sexy soccer star Bridget in the movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. She has dated stars like Ryan Gosling and Leonardo DiCaprio before finally settling down with Ryan Reynolds. So in other words, she is now one-half of the most flawless Hollywood power couple! In late 2014, she revealed on her lifestyle website that she was pregnant with her and Reynolds' first child. From that point on, we watched her dress to impress, from red carpets to Instagram photos to public appearances, Lively never failed to drop our jaws with her trendy and bold looks, all while carrying a growing baby girl inside! Rumors swirled that she was pregnant again in early 2016 and, although never announced or confirmed, she had another little girl in the fall of 2016. Cheers to some of the perfectly chic looks I've ever seen on a red carpet, Mrs. Reynolds, and here's to hoping you'll never stop wowing us! A+ for you, obviously.

Another day, another surgery, another sexy star that somehow looks sexier with a growing baby bump! Grey's Anatomy star Camilla Luddington is no exception. Originally born in England, she traveled to the United States as a teenager, living in states like Texas, California, and New York. She is famous for her portrayal of Jo Wilson on the ABC smash hit Grey's Anatomy. In the fall of 2016, Luddington took to Instagram to announce her pregnancy, adorning a pumpkin with the words 'Baby Arriving Spring 2017'. From that point forward, the world was watching-- and Luddington certainly delivered. She always looked refreshed and glowing, always putting in plenty of effort to look chic, yet still be comfortable. In April 2017, Luddington welcomed a daughter, Hayden, with her boyfriend Matthew Alan. Here's to hoping her next pregnancy will be just as stylish and sexy as the first!
2 Could Have Tried Harder: Nicky Hilton Too Simple, Too Boring
Yet another little sister to make an appearance on this list, Nicky Hilton is famous for her relations to her infamous older sister, Paris, as well as being an heiress to the Hilton empire. She has created fashion, handbag, and jewelry lines, as well as modeled for various lines. Hilton has stayed out of the spotlight significantly compared to her older sister. Regardless of her fashion designer success, she certainly falls short of dressing her baby bump stylishly, much like the other little sister on our list. She married James Rothschild in the summer of 2015 and, shortly after, announced her first pregnancy. While she grew her little girl in her tummy, Hilton bored us with her overly simple style. She didn't really disappoint, but she didn't wow us either. She recently announced her second pregnancy in July of this year, so here's to hoping we get a little more trendy chic from little Hilton.

Keira Knightley couldn't disappoint us if she tried, thanks to her inspiring talent on the big screen and her effortlessly trendy style. Born and raised in London, Knightley was a natural talent from the early age of three. She got her big break in 2002 with her role in Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl as Elizabeth Swann, alongside Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. Since then, we've been watching her closely as she took small indy-film roles as well as roles in other blockbuster hits. She has silently become a trendsetter as well, mixing her English style with Hollywood's sexy fashion trends. She announced her pregnancy in December 2014 after much speculation and from that point on, she made an impression with her flowy dinner dresses, trendy heels, and dainty looks to accentuate her tiny figure and growing bump! Dainty or not, though, Knightley always looks chic and sexy!
