Before you knew it high school was over, college passed you by and now you have found yourself in the office kitchen starring at those sprinkled cupcakes. Why Martha? Why must you bring the extra cupcakes left from little Lisa’s school baking contest back to the office? The torture!

As we get older our metabolism slows down significantly. We actually have to work out and watch what we eat in order to not only keep in shape but to be healthy. Ladies our body is our temple, we must watch what we put in it. Meanwhile a girl can dream right?

15 Microwave Extra Butter Popcorn

Every gal’s weakness. You're sitting at home watching Netflix and chilling by yourself and suddenly you feel the urge for a nice hot bag of popcorn. “It’s only corn” you tell yourself, ignoring the calories written on the back of that luxurious and sensual bag of goodness you eat way too often.

The truth is we love buttery popcorn, even worse we love movie theater popcorn, the only difference now is that when we eat it we count how many calories we will have to burn off the next day. Sorry ladies but bagged buttery popcorn is really bad for that diet plan you're on.

14 Cheese Fondue

It’s cheesy, it’s warm and it falls seductively down a fountain of pleasure. Go ahead girl, grab that piece of baguette and dip away. Now isn’t that the most satisfying feeling in the world? It is still as tasty as ever the only difference now is that within an hour we feel bloated and... gassy. Let this also be a warning, no fondue for first dates.

This cheesy goodness might be good to you now but if you plan to hit up your favorite nightclub with the ladies after, that dress might look just a little...stretched out.

13 Bottomless Fries

Bring them on! You’re sitting at your local bar with your favorite group of girls and all of a sudden the question comes about; “Are we doing appetizers?” Your mind knows to say no but Terry beats you to the punch and says “I’m hungry, let’s do the bottomless fries.” Hey at least she said it and not you.

You're going to probably hate her after you realize you shared three baskets with your friends and now when the damage is done you're really thinking about the sodium you just devoured. Oh french fries, why must you be so crispy and perfect?

12 Southern Style Mac and Cheese

Southern food is the yummiest and our deepest desire. The flavors, the crunch, the cheese Mmmm, can you picture it now? Pasta curled by the gods and a blend of cheese that always hits the spot. This scrumptious dish should be a sin. The only problem now is that the cheese ( yes just like the fondue) ends up hitting us an hour later, leaving us bloated and well uncomfortable.

Though it is a traditional meal that makes us very happy, it's still lots of dairy in one sitting. Maybe share the mac and cheese with a friend so you eat less of it? Listen ladies I hate sharing food just as much as the next girl but in this case it helps.

11 Fried Chicken (Extra Crispy) and Waffles

Crunch, crunch, crunch. Batter is just right for me and place those waffles beautifully next to them. Fried Chicken and waffles is such a creative combination, Einstein must have invented it. Hardest decision here is the amount of syrup you're going to need to dress it all up.

Here's the downside to this amazing combo. Fried is never good and flour isn't your real friend. These two together can crank up that dress size if you have it too often. All in moderation girls. Luckily there are such things as cheat days yay!

10 Spanish Rice, Fried Pork Chops, Beans and Bread

Whether you are of Latin descent or not, rice, beans and chuletas (pork chops) are never the wrong choice. Well, except when you're 28-years old and going to Vegas with your hot and fit girlfriends the following week. Too much of it is “no bueno” for the waistline.

Although Mami makes it with love and home cooked meals can make a difference, eating this at restaurants can make a difference. Pork Chops are usually fried and the amount of salt and other condiments can increase the calories in this authentic dish.

9 Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Sweets? Yes please! What girl doesn’t love a nice cookie after lunch? Hand me a couple of these chocolate chunkies after dinner and I will happily partake! Just make sure you cancel that beach day tomorrow since you will most likely wake up with an extra little pouch (so cute...not).

I know girls, sweets are my weakness too. Indulge in a cookie once in while, that " I deserve sweets after each meal" is a rule created by your sugar loving mind. You don't own me cookies! You yummy little things you.

8 Birthday Cake Ice Cream...Three Scoops on a Waffle Cone...and Sprinkles

Cake, Cake, Cake, Cake…Rihanna said it right we want that cake! That birthday cake ice cream that is. What 26-year old doesn’t envy the little girl in front of her at Ice Cream World ordering the twenty scoops on a waffle cone? “I’ll just have the non-dairy ice pop please” (sad face emoji).

Once in a while it's a great treat, well maybe not the three scoops, how about just one scoop? Work with me here girls.

7 Appetizer Platter: Chicken Wings, Nachos, Mozarella Sticks and Artichoke Dip.

Remember the days when mom and dad just paid you that allowance money they owed and you immediately called Veronica and yelled; “Applebee’s???!” We will never forget that glorious appetizer platter filled with fried goodness and melted spinach dip.

Of course back then we ordered one platter for each and happily walked the calories away. Today, fried food will not only attack your waist, it can take a toll on that acne free skin of yours. Grease equals pimples, hope you have your face cream handy because your paying for those five mozzarella sticks tonight! (crying emoji).

6 Six "Carne Asada" Tacos

Hand them over! Who loves tacos after a long night of dancing with friends? Umm…all of us! Don’t you just wish you had the guts to order those six tacos you have always wanted instead of your usual two slim chicken? Us too.

But you know what? You make me proud ladies because the lighter option allows you to indulge after that long night and still save yourself some heartburn. Tacos at your local taco truck are usually made with corn tortillas which is a healthier alternative to flour tortillas (also more authentic and delicious) so do not feel too bad about this one.

5 Orange Chicken with Pork Fried Rice and at least Two Egg Rolls...Vegetable Egg Rolls

Chinesse take-out, why are you so heavenly? The joy one feels while pouring that gorgeous packet of soya sauce on those vegetable egg rolls eh? Go on girl, smile, you have vegetables in that egg roll, you did your part.

I actually got hungry writing about this perfect quick meal. However, I do not have to be the one to tell you that the heaving sauces and condiments in this meal make it unhealthy. Again ladies, everything in moderation is better...for your breathing.

4 Fettuccine Carbonara with extra Bacon and a side of Garlic Bread

We’re all just a little Italian deep inside aren’t we? Who doesn’t love that beautiful pasta with that tasty sauce that looks as clean as the white snow? Don’t forget those little bits of bacon decorating your plate like little angels protecting heaven. Don’t forget to throw in the garlic bread, which completes your perfect fantasy.

Although pasta and heavy sauces do not seem to have any affect on actual Italians in Italy, too much of it makes a difference on the scale here in America (LOL). Again, dairy can be a big issue when you have too much of it. You don't want a bloated belly walking out of that fancy Italian restaurant, it just doesn't match your shoes.

3 Steak and Potatoes...Extra side of Butter

Is this your meal or one that your partner rudely ordered and made you watch?

Steak is a fine meal but it is a heavy meat. This can lead to feeling uncomfortable after and a thicker steak will probably not allow much room for the potatoes. Thank god for smaller portions right? Knowing how to eat a well portioned meal is key!

2 Cake frosting...Lots of Cake Frosting

You can keep the cake; I’ll peel of all of the frosting. As if cake wasn’t bad enough some mad scientist had to create a topping for it?! Vanilla, chocolate or lemon frosting; you name it, we want a bowl of it!

1 Triple Bacon Cheeseburger...with a side of Large fries and a Large Coke

The number one most desired meal in your late 20’s is this All-American combo. Even if you’re a vegetarian, they have burgers for you too! Oh the carbs, the fries and the calories in that soda yum. For now we will continue to draw a burger meal in our diaries and stare at it, we’ve heard that’s actually a thing now so here we go!
