Nothing is quite as entertaining as seeing a startling, unexpected, embarrassing confrontation out in public. It is indeed a breath of fresh air when we get to witness an astonishing public scene. Yet, what's even more entertaining is when the altercation involves our favourite celebrities! This obviously only heightens the drama x100. For the most part, it's stunning just to run into a celebrity while out and about, let alone for that celebrity to do something totally shocking, such as fight with their spouse or another celebrity!
Being in the public eye demands that celebs have to be EXTRA careful what they say and what they do while out in their everyday lives. 15 Justin Bieber & Orlando Bloom
Ibiza, Spain—the party capital of the world. Millions from all over the globe flock to Ibiza every year to enjoy the renowned nightlife. Some come to dance, some come to drink, and some come to THROW FISTS! In 2014, actor Orlando Bloom was in Ibiza hanging out in a restaurant called Cipriani. Cipriani that night was playing host to a pack of celebs, including Paris Hilton, Diddy, and Justin Bieber. At one point in the night, Bloom and Bieber exchanged words, and next thing you know Bloom threw a punch at Bieber's face. Bieber ducked the punch, then security quickly got in between the two parties. Speculation is the fight was over women. Bieber partied with Bloom's then-wife Miranda Kerr after a 2012 Victoria's Secret fashion show in New York, and the two got VERY close. Later that same year, Bloom was hanging out hard with Justin's on-and-off girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
14 Nicki Minaj & Mariah Carey
The Remy Ma vs. Nicki Minaj beef of recent past, had absolutely NOTHING on the previous Nicki Minaj vs. Mariah Carey claw match! Season 12 of American Idol premiered on January 16, 2013, with Randy Jackson, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj as judges. From the start, Minaj and Carey mixed like oil and water. “Mariah has been saying little things to jab at Nicki from day one of shooting,” an Idol source stated. “Mariah doesn’t think Nicki can sing and doesn’t think she should be judging folks. Nicki has been taking all of the jabs." Well, eventually Minaj had enough and erupted in an outburst against Carey during a live audition in Charlotte. Also, it was reported that Minaj was heard off-camera after the public rant saying, "If I had a gun, I would shoot that b**ch." Yikes.
13 Katt Williams & Luke Walsh
Single-handedly the funniest event of 2016, was perhaps Katt Williams getting his grown beehind whooped by a teenager. In March of last year, comedian Katt Williams got into a scuffle with 17-year-old Luke Walsh, following a quarrel during a soccer match. After the game, Williams and Walsh engaged in a verbal dispute. That led to Williams punching Walsh in the face. The two began to tussle, which resulted in Walsh placing Williams in a headlock on the ground and choking him. Afterwards, Walsh placed the blame on Williams, saying Williams instigated the squabble. “He took me over to a secluded area and asked me to hit him and I was like, ‘I’m not just going to hit you,", Walsh told the press. "You want to square up?’ And then he sucker-punched me, so I did what I did.”. Williams in turn, said Walsh was actually the one that provoked him.
12 Kid Rock & Tommy Lee
We do not condone fighting, but if you are going to fight over anything—let it be over Pamela Anderson! Both former husbands of Pamela Anderson, Kid Rock and Tommy Lee saw each other at the VMA's in 2007 and got to thumping like boys in the schoolyard. Afterwards, on a radio program, Rock stated his beef with Lee actually had nothing to do with Anderson. According to Rock, the entire time he was with Anderson, Lee would indirectly and blatantly disrespect him. "It’s been going on for five years," Kid said in the 2007 interview. "Last contact I had with him was when me and Pam were going through our divorce. He picked up her Blackberry and started e-mailing me a lot of horrendous things. It was extremely disrespectful. I calmly told him, …Listen, I will see you again…” Indeed he did, for Rock punched Lee in the face on sight. Security promptly diffused the situation.
11 Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries
Who could forget Kim Kardashian's marriage to NBA baller, Kris Humphries? Probably most people because their marriage only lasted 72 days! Kardashian and Humphries began dating in October 2010 and married in August 2011. On October 31, 2011 Kardashian filed for a divorce from Humphries citing irreconcilable differences. Countless news outlets presumed that Kardashian's marriage to Humphries was strictly a publicity stunt in order to promote the Kardashians' business brand and television projects.Kardashian and Humphries were spotted in LA, heatedly arguing inside of a car. The fight got so crazy that Humphries exited the vehicle and found his own way back home. Perhaps the public fight the couple had in their car in Los Angeles had something to do with the split!
10 Perez Hilton & Will.I.Am
Technically, it was Perez Hilton vs. Polo Molina (Black Eyed Peas manager), but Will.I.Am was involved in the mix! After the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, singer/producer Will.I.Am approached blogger Perez Hilton in regards to derogatory comments made by Hilton concerning bandmate Fergie and the group's release "The E.N.D.". Things got heated quick, with Hilton shouting "you're a f***ing f*gg*t" at Will.I.Am in the course of the disarray. That's when the manager, Molina, allegedly attacked Hilton. Hilton reported that he was "clocked" in the eye by Molina. Will.I.Am contended the attacking party was a fan, not Molina. Hilton later filed a $25,000 civil lawsuit against Molina. Following the incident, Hilton tweeted "I'm in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please...I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke."
9 The Game & 40 Glocc
For those of you not familiar with West Coast gangsta rap, let us school you. The Game, Dr. Dre's protégé, formally signed to 50 Cent's label G-Unit. 40 Glocc, is a former G-Unit West artist. In July 2012, 40 Glocc was involved in a physical altercation with The Game outside of a mansion in Hollywood, CA. The Game taped the altercation and posted it on the internet. The fight was widely viewed online, demonstrating Game repeatedly punching 40 Glocc while barking at 40 telling him to fight back. 40 was hesitant to retaliate and balled up in the bushes. 40 Glocc subsequently filed a $4.54 million lawsuit against The Game for assault and battery. 40 Glocc won the lawsuit and was awarded $3000. The beef started apparently after 40 Glocc made a Twitter page on behalf of The Game’s young son.
8 Snooki & Brad Ferro
MTV's cameras were rolling when patron Brad Ferro, punched out Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi inside a Seaside Heights, NJ bar in Aug 2009. "This drunk guy, I didn't know who he was. But he kept coming over to us, talking to us. I think he just wanted to be on camera," Snooki stated in regards the punch. "I was ordering shots, and he had already got cut off by the bartender. I don't even know why he was still at the bar. I ordered drinks, and he stole my shots! So, I kinda got in his face a little bit because he just wouldn't leave, and outta nowhere, he clocked me in the face." A relatively unknown gym teacher prior to, Ferro became an overnight celebrity after socking Snooki on the Jersey Shore episode. As a direct result of the incident, Ferro lost his job as a teacher and then enlisted into the U.S. Army.
7 Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes & Andre Rison
Former NFL star, Andre Rison and the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes had a very interesting relationship, to say the least. It was normal for the couple to often argue and get into screaming matches in public. However, the most notable fight the two ever had, occurred in 1994. After a night out, the couple got into a slight physical altercation at the former football player’s mansion. Rison, upset, stormed out of the house. Lopes then went upstairs, threw Rison's tennis shoes into a bathtub, then set them of fire. The flames ultimately spread throughout the mansion, burning it to the ground. The news of the occurrence spread faster than the actual blaze! Lopes was sentenced to five years probation and therapy at a halfway house. Even after the fire fiasco, Lopes and Rison still maintained an on-again/off-again relationship.
6 Ray Rice & Janay Palmer
Ray Rice and, his now-wife, Janay Rice's elevator fight is one the craziest instances ever caught on tape. In Feb 2014, after enjoying a night on the floor in the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, Janay and Ray stepped into an elevator. The two were both highly intoxicated and got into a verbal confrontation. Ray then punched Janay, knocking her out cold, then proceeded to drag Janay's lifeless body out of the elevator. Celebrity news website TMZ posted the video of the altercation the following day. Ray was arrested and charged with assault. For the incident, Ray was suspended for the first 2 games of the 2014 NFL season. The criminal charges were later dropped after Ray agreed to undergo court-supervised counseling.
5 Kirsten Dunst & Garrett Hedlund
Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund met on the set of On the Road in 2011, and officially began dating in 2012. Garrett later confessed that their first date on a canoe ride was far from smooth sailing. "It was not a stable canoe," Garrett admitted. "We fell out and had to swim back in mucky, sh*tty water, like golf-pond water." Well, that should of been a sign because the couple's relationship from that point on was just like the canoe—UNSTABLE! The same year they began dating (2012), paparazzi caught the couple one day engaged in an intense argument on their way to the movies. As the two got closer to the theater, their shouts turned into “fierce whispers”, as they did not want people to hear their squabble. Dunst and Hedlund called it quits for good in 2016.
4 Jay Z & Solange Knowles
Jay Z is a low key guy as far as celebrities go. That's why when we saw his sister-in-law (Solange Knowles) on tape attacking him like a cheetah, we were all like "W-T-F!??". In May 2014, security video footage was released of Solange physically assaulting Jay Z and being restrained by a security guard inside an elevator at The Standard High Line, in Manhattan, following the Met Gala. As Solange maliciously kicked and mercilessly clawed at him, Jay Z remained credibly passive and did not retaliate. Solange's sister, Beyoncé, who was also present in the elevator, stood neutral and did not jump in the middle of the one-sided fight. The cause of the explosive incident is still a matter of speculation.
3 Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber by far had one of the most dramatic relationships in Hollywood. The two got into fights so much that it became cliche. A few of their spats, however, spilled over into the streets for everyone to see. In 2012, it was reported that just minutes after the item entered a restaurant for dinner, Gomez stormed out, furious. Gomez and Bieber went home in separate cars, and when Bieber attempted to get in Gomez’s home to talk to her, she refused to open the gate. Then in 2014, the couple were coming back from a declared romantic vacation, when Gomez stormed into the airport and slammed her purse down on the ground in anger. Talk about dramatic much?
2 Chris Brown & Rihanna
Deemed by some as the "modern day Ike & Tina", Rihanna and Chris Brown's relationship made waves in the news world like nothing before it. In February 2009, Rihanna's scheduled performance at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards was cancelled. Reports emerged that she missed the performance due to then-boyfriend, Chris Brown physically assaulting her. Brown was arrested, and in March 2009 was charged with assault and for making criminal threats. Leaked photographs from the police department of Rihanna's badly beaten face stirred an uproar within communities. In June 2009, Brown pled guilty to felony assault and received 5 years probation. Though the couple's physical altercation happened inside of a rented car, the blowout actually began at Timbaland's party hours prior. Brown and RiRi were seen at Tim's party arguing and looking very tense before they left.
1 Tupac Shakur & Orlando Anderson
In Sept 1996, Tupac Shakur attended the Bruce Seldon vs. Mike Tyson boxing match with Suge Knight (CEO, Death Row Records) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. After exiting the match, one of Knight's associates noticed Orlando "Baby Lane" Anderson (a Crips gang member) was also in the MGM Grand lobby. Earlier that year, Anderson and a group of Crips robbed a member of Death Row's entourage. Knight's associate informed Shakur of Anderson's presence. Shakur then attacked Anderson. He punched Anderson in the face, knocking him to the ground. Shakur's entourage, as well as Knight and others, assisted in assaulting Anderson. The fight was captured on the MGM's video surveillance. It was broken up by MGM's security. Shakur and Knight instantaneously left the premises. Moments after the brawl, a car pulled up alongside Knight's BMW and opened fire. Knight was grazed by a bullet, and Shakur was hit several times. Shakur laid in a coma for 6 days before passing away.
