Kerry Washington’s husband Nnamdi Asomugha is a pro-football player and is four years her junior. His parents were both born in Nigeria but he was born in Louisiana and raised in Los Angeles. He played professional football for ten years before he retired in 2013. Not only is he a talented athlete, he also has a charity called the Asomugha Foundation that helps disadvantaged teens in the United State through his program Asomugha College Tour for Scholars (ACTS) and the orphans and widows in Africa through his program Orphans and Widows In Need (OWIN).
