Celebrities are just like us. They might have fame, fortune, and lifestyles we can only dream of but deep down they are humans with the same set of insecurities as anyone else. We have seen them play the role of the psycho girlfriend in many movies or sang bitter breakup songs but even this isn't a touch on what really goes on.
According to Psychology Today, typical behavior that could be classed as being a 'psycho girlfriend' includes acting too sensitive (eg. hysterically crying over the smallest of things, unable to control your anger, continually acting the damsel in distress or intentionally causing drama to get a reaction from your partner.

15 Emma Roberts
American Horror Story co-stars and long-term couple Emma Roberts and Evan Peters had a nightmare of their own when police were called following a domestic abuse complaint. TMZ reported that the couple stayed at a hotel in Montreal, then Roberts bit her boyfriend and drew blood during a physical fight. After Roberts was arrested for the incident, she was released without charge and her spokesperson claimed the disagreement had all been a "misunderstanding."
When the pair reunited she was caught on camera sobbing in his arms playing the victim role. A source told US Weekly, "Emma is very dramatic. They will not break up. When they are good, they are crazy in love. Their romance is pretty extreme. They just behave in a way that's very passionate." We prefer the term 'abusive' rather than 'passionate.'
14 Ciara
Ciara has no chill when it comes to men. An insider told Urban Belle Mag, "Ciara is a beautiful girl, (but) the reason she can’t really keep a man is because she has a nasty habit of stalking them. She calls (men she’s dating) way too much and falls in love too quickly. It annoyed 50 (Cent) so bad, he had to threaten her with public embarrassment before she stopped making the frequent phone calls.”
50 Cent clarified the comments when he revealed to Howard Stern that the 1, 2 Step singer caused "a lot of tension" between him and comedian Chelsea Handler - Ciara refused to stop calling him despite the fact he had clearly moved on. 50 Cent added that she behaved as if they were in "8th grade." It was also reported that she had stalked Chris Brown when he was dating Rihanna. Ciara has finally found true love; she is now expecting her second child with NFL star Russell Wilson.
13 Sienna Miller
Sienna Miller was once dating Young Pope actor Jude Law but she cheated on him with James Bond star Daniel Craig. The love triangle between the three British stars came to light during the phone hacking trial involving The Sun newspaper. In a brutal twist to the tangled romance, Sienna left a voicemail for Daniel Craig on his phone saying, "Hi, it's me. Cannot speak, I'm at the Groucho with Jude. I love you." She continued to date Law without him realizing she was playing him big time.
In an interview with US Weekly, Sienna blamed her hard partying ways for acting "immorally." She added, "I sabotaged things. I burnt a lot of bridges." Before revealing she was a serial cheater cheating on another actor, Rhys Ifans, with Balthazar Getty. She confessed, "When I wasn't at work, I wasn't behaving the way you should. I'm very lucky to have a second chance in that town...It was really bad. What was going on in my private life was not an easy thing to read about. People don't want to see films with people they don't approve of in them."
12 Kris Jenner
Kris Jenner was married to former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner (then Bruce Jenner) for twenty-three years but her psycho, controlling ways caused a void between them. Caitlyn told Vanity Fair magazine that it wasn't gender issues that caused them to eventually divorce but how she was treated by her spouse. She revealed, "A lot of times she wasn't very nice. People would see how I got mistreated. She controlled the money, all that kind of stuff.
In a separate interview with AOL Makers, Caitlyn revealed Kris was very strict that there was no cross dressing in the family home, revealing, "The rules for Kris and I (were) don’t dress up, certainly around the house. If you really feel the need to do that, when you’re on the road take stuff and do that.” Then explained, "I’d go on the road for speaking engagements, take a bunch of stuff, dress up at the hotel, walk around, do whatever I wanted to do, just to feel a little bit better about myself. And I kind of dealt with it that way."
11 Kelly Brook
Model and actress Kelly Brook has some serious anger issues and she revealed all when promoting her memoir Close Up. She confessed that she hit her ex-boyfriend, Danny Cipriani, when she believed he had been seeing a stripper and she also hit her ex-boyfriend, Hollywood hard man Jason Statham.
In an interview on This Morning, she shockingly revealed that she was left embarrassed at Madonna's wedding to Guy Ritchie, and violently attacked Statham out of frustration. She added, "In my defense, I don’t think (Statham) felt it. He’s a martial arts expert." The public was not happy about how humours she found domestic violence with one Twitter user raging, "So Kelly Brook laughs & admits to punching ex bf's in the face. If a guy had admitted doing that to a women they'd be uproar!" We couldn't agree anymore.
10 Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas have been on and off for years, during a shock confession from Jonas, he admitted that Lovato pressured him into taking drugs and smoking marijuana. He also confessed to Good Morning America that he had attempted to break up with her for some time but she made it too difficult to split.
All her crazy was on display for the video for Give Your Heart A Break, she explained to MTV News, "I'm basically trying to convince a guy that I didn't break his heart, and we get into a fight and I try to win him over again," she said. "So I do something special for him at the end of the song." That 'something special' is taking hundreds of pictures of her and the ex-boyfriend (who looks the double of Jonas) when they were together and creating a huge collage on the wall opposite his house - so when he looks out the window he can see both their faces. Run, Jonas, run!
9 Blac Chyna
The worst thing any celebrity can do is invite cameras into their home to film their relationship if things aren't going well. For Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian it was all too late and her full-on craziness was on public display for the E! series, Rob & Chyna. The now famous clip of Chyna screaming down the phone, "Are you still texting b*****s?" and throwing the flowers he gave her into the pool was just the beginning.
In a Snapchat video posted by Kardashian, Rob labeled Blac Chyna a "psycho b****h" and showed cuts where he had been scratched. He told the camera, "Look, look what she did to me. Crazy a**," before lifting his arm to the camera to show the bleeding. For the sake of their newborn daughter, we hope these two agree to deal with their own anger issues.
8 Brandi Glanville
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and when Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville's ex-husband Eddie Cibrian left her for singer LeAnn Rimes she went full on crazy. Cibrian, who appears in Sunset Beach, told RumorFix, "Brandi sends me hundreds of crazy emails every month."
On his own reality show, LeAnn & Eddie, he explained, "I mean, you'd think that my ex would be incredibly excited that I'm with someone who loves the kids like they're her own." Eddie's stylists asked, "Is she dating?" and Eddie replies, "Ha! Would you date her?"
In an interview with William Shatner, Brandi revealed that when she split from Eddie it was like "death." She asked herself, "Was I not tall enough? Skinny enough? Are my boobs not big enough? Should I have blue eyes? It was all of that." The pair divorced seven years ago but Brandi won't quit anytime soon.

Kelly Bensimon enjoys spending time with her on-off boyfriend Nicholas Stefanov when she's not in police custody for assaulting him. In 2009, police were called to her Manhattan apartment after she started attacking her former beau. The NY Daily News reported that after she had completed community service the charge was scrapped from her criminal record.
Alex McCord, Kelly's co-star on Real Housewives of New York, told US Weekly, "Sonja (Morgan) was the one who pegged it at one point, saying, 'Wow. (Kelly) is not being rational. There was definitely a moment when we all clicked into realizing we had to stop picking part all the insane things being said because there beyond her control." She added, "I remember the first time that Kelly mentioned that she thought I was channeling the devil. It was in the middle of the soup course!" Time to back away slowly, ladies.

It won't come as a surprise to many people that Taylor Swift is bat-s**t crazy when it comes to who she is dating (or breaking up with) but there is no denying it. In 2012, she was dating Connor Kennedy, eldest son of Robert Kennedy Jr, for three months when she bought a mansion right next door to his - maybe too soon, Taylor? When she briefly dated One Direction's Harry Styles, he bought her 23 cupcakes for her 23rd birthday and in return she spent $100,000 on Beatles memorabilia for the singer - talk about going overboard.
She also became obsessed with Owl City singer Adam Young and she told Yahoo, "(Young) I met in New York City, and I had talked to him on email before, but I had never met him. TMZ reported on court documents that showed Kylie Jenner and all her crazy in full light. According to court papers, when Kylie was dating Will Smith's son Jaden Smith, he became close to 17-year-old Chelsea Clark. Chelsea claimed she had received a phone call from Kylie threatening, “Leave my boyfriend alone, ’cause you will never be like me.” Chelsea also claimed in the documents, which were a request for a restraining order, that Kylie had caused a car accident resulting in her back being intentionally hurt.
Kylie also can not be separated from Tyga for too long, she suffers from anxiety and freaks out when he's not around. Her rapper boyfriend encourages her to work as much as possible so she keeps distracted, Kylie herself revealed, "When I am not working, I get anxiety."
4 Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie showed her true colors during her current divorce battle with husband Brad Pitt when she blocked his access to their family of six children. The couple spent twelve years together and finally married in 2014. Angie has a track record of man-snatching too when it suits her. Her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton was in a long-term relationship with Jurassic Park actress Laura Dern when they hooked up and everyone knows she started a relationship with Brad when he was already married to Jennifer Aniston.
When the news broke that the pair were to divorce, TV host Chelsea Handler (who is also very close friends with Brad's ex -wife Jennifer Anniston) joked on her show, "There are rumors that part of the problem was that Brad was allegedly drinking and smoking too much. I wonder why he would need to self-medicate? Oh yeah, because he married a f***ing lunatic, that’s why."

When it comes to breaking up, there isn't much worse than one-half of the couple sounding off on social media. Love secretly dated Fight Club actor Edward Norton for a few years until things took a strange turn. She tweeted him, "@EdwardNorton you want to be president, and I want you to be but clean (this) mess up." She then ranted that he owed her $300,000 because of dodgy investments - but a quick legal letter from his team and she took down the tweets and apologized that the whole thing was made up. After a two-week fling with comedian Steven Coogan she claimed that she was pregnant with his child - something his team furiously denied. Mariah Carey is another celebrity who turned stalker on her guy. Rapper Eminem revealed during his Anger Management tour that he had to cut the singer off completely as she would not stop leaving him voicemails. He claimed she would sob down the phone, "Why won’t you see me? Why won’t you call me?" and that he was sick of putting up with her "psycho a**".
When she split from her ex-fiancé, billionaire casino owner James Packer, she demanded he pay her $50 million for breaking up with her and she would not remove her $10 million engagement ring from her wedding finger. TMZ reported that the money will cover the cost of damages as she uprooted her young family, she has two small children with Nick Cannon, and moved them from LA to New York. We've all been through breakups before but none that landed us in a courtroom.
