Our society watches the rich and the famous under a microscope. We love some celebs, of course, and there are others that we just can't stand. We all have our options on famous people and we feel like we know them. When we get super annoyed with them, it's because they are extremely arrogant, devoid of talent or trying to get way too much attention. It's pretty hard NOT to get irritated with famous people who we have to read about everywhere that we look. It's a reminder that we have to take a long, hard look at who we glorify and hold up as icons. Fame should be earned through true talent and good deeds. From all the Kardashians to the “cassh me outside” girl, there is no reason for these individuals to be famous! Here are the celebrities that we think need to become completely irrelevant.
14 Every. Single. Kardashian.
It is only fair that I start this list with the most annoying family in America. Listen, I am the first person to give this family credit. They managed to make millions and millions of dollars from simply showing their life to the world. Not to mention the fact that each one of them has their own little empire, whether that is Kim's popular smartphone app or Kylie's lip kits. They are true hustlers, and they will do anything to expand their influence. I believe that it is time for a new (possibly talented?) family to take the reins. If I see Kim's crying face on television one more time, honestly, I'm gonna lose it and I don't think I'm the only one! There must be others who find their reality show totally boring, right? All they do is sit around their kitchen table eating salad and discussing subjects that no one really cares about!
13 Miley Cyrus
I truly believed that Miley's cringe-worthy VMA performance would ruin her career, but it hasn't seemed to! Unfortunately, we are still subjected to her ridiculous comment and antics. Word of advice: her Instagram posts are quit frankly bizarre AF. Just look at when she shared her (bloody) wisdom teeth on her Instagram account! Why?! Would she even be anywhere without her famous father? Her singing and acting skills are not really on the level of other celebrities, that's for sure. Hannah Montana was so awful that it is hard to believe that it got the ratings and the attention that it did. It's annoying to constantly hear about how she needs to be her authentic self. I find her to be a complete hypocrite, since she advocates for young people but thanks to her performances has totally normalized objectifying yourself on stage. Girl, bye.
12 Taylor Swift
Talk about hypocrites! Here we have boy-obsessed T.Swift. She could not be more fake if she tried. I don't believe that she's truly a good person! If she was, she wouldn’t have so many bad break-ups and enemies (Katy Perry and Kim K, anyone)? She is known for low-key being a mean girl. She's pretty much a horrible influence on young girls. Can she sing about something other than a man?! Way to keep the patriarchy alive, Swift! Let us revolve our life around our relationships with our boyfriends because women seriously have nothing else to offer in life but be someone’s girlfriend. Her Little Miss Perfect persona is not fooling anyone. Although, I may be a little biased – I am a serious sucker for Calvin Harris. How amazing was that picture of him and Kim Kardashian when they were both fighting with Swift? No stronger bond than the bond between two people that hate the same person!
11 Madonna
Yes, Madonna is a true pop music icon, but the problem is that she's not acting or dressing like her age. Dear Madonna, it is time to give it the eff up already! Do you really think that it's appropriate to wear THIS to the MET??. Not to knock your accomplishments, you are a true pop icon, but you smell like total desperation. Madonna is so scared of becoming irrelevant and unpopular. She needs to start embracing the inevitable aging cycle that we all face. Ageism is a real thing, and she is clinging to her youth for dear life. She is making it seem like aging isn’t okay between her outfits and her never ending enhancement procedures. I doubt her children appreciate seeing their mother acting this way. If it was mine, I would want to hide under a rock. Seriously, how embarrassing?! Although she is legendary, she is still a mother, and should be setting a good example for her children.
10 Anne Hathaway
We all loved Anne Hathaway in The Princess Diaries. How did she become the most hated star in Hollywood? People can't stand her, and that includes me! She is so snide and insincere. She is known for her awful behavior on set and apparently, she can do anything from painfully sucking up to the director to bossing other cast members around. The worst kind of person to work with, that's for sure. Her over-the-top co-hosting semantics at the 2011 Oscars only fueled the hatred for Miss Hathaway. Speaking of Oscars, when she won the most prestigious award an actor can receive, you would think that she would be totally elated. Instead, she was miserable about winning, whining about how the award is only there to make people feel bad. Some people even hate her face, which might be going a bit far, but she definitely needs to become irrelevant!
9 Chris Brown
My hatred for Chris Brown runs deep. There is nothing more cowardly than a man who puts his hands on a woman, and it seems that he hasn’t changed. Everyone knows about him hitting Rihanna, but did you know that he reportedly behaved in a violent manner toward his most recent ex Karuecche Tran? She filed a restraining order against Chris and as TMZ reported, she claims that the rapper “pushed her down a flight of stairs” and “kicked her in the stomach several times." If that isn’t enough to put a bad taste in your mouth for the guy, Chris is constantly getting into brawls with other rappers and artists. Most recently, he got into it with the popular rap group Migos. It may have something to do with the fact that one of the members is reportedly dating Karrueche, that's for sure. He definitely deserves to go to jail for his awful behavior. We just hate that he is so talented!
8 Blac Chyna
For someone who was once an exotic dancer, Blac Chyna has come up in the world. She set her sights on Rob Kardashian and it has been smooth sailing ever since for her. Nothing like having a baby and getting engaged to one of the members of the most famous family in America. It seems that Chyna wants to share more than just their last name because she copies their every move! If you follow her on Snapchat, then you will know what I'm talking about. If Kylie snaps her makeup collection and swatches colors on her arm, Chyna does too. If Kylie takes snaps of herself in all different angles, both pictures and videos, Chyna does too. If Khloe films herself working out in her backyard with her trainer, then so does Chyna. You know what is even more annoying than a Kardashian? A wannabe Kardashian!
7 Dj Khaled
Look, I love Khaled’s new album but does he have to be so extra 24/7? He is so boisterous, loud, and arrogant that you can't help but wish that he would chill out and step back for a little while. His Snapchat consists of him getting a haircut (which he believes needs to be broadcasted the entire time) or speaking about his “greatness”. He has surpassed Kanye West on the egotistical level, which I always believed to be impossible, and other people must agree with me! He truly thinks he is God’s gift, and nothing is more annoying than someone who doesn’t stay humble. Yes, he's an amazing dad and that's great, but calling your seven-month-old an executive producer is a tad ridiculous. He even gets his son custom made Gucci suits... which he will grow out of in about 6 more months. There's nothing like setting up your son to become the most entitled, spoiled brat to ever exist.
6 Farrah Abraham
Can MTV please stop giving this woman airtime? She is the epitome of everything that is wrong with reality television. After all, she has starred in several adult videos, and it definitely seems like she will do anything for money or fame. She starred in an adult film and is now worth well over a million dollars. Classy! Not to mention the fact that she is completely disgusting, rude, and obnoxious to everyone around her. If you watch one episode of her show, you will realize that you absolutely despise Farrah Abraham. She is known to throw temper tantrums on a regular basis and her voice will probably give you a migraine. The worst is how she treats her own mother! Even Nicki Minaj famously called Abraham out on her behavior. The worst part of it all is the horrific example she is setting for her daughter.
5 Paris Hilton
It baffles my mind that Paris Hilton is even still relevant, but she seems to be. The heir to the Hilton empire is famous for... Wait. What is she famous for again? Oh right! That would be for her drug use and arrest record. Let me not forget the informative show called The Simple Life that she and Nicole Richie starred on back in the early 2000s. If you have never seen the show, don’t. I'll summarize it: the show follows the bratty and entitled girls as they complain about living in the country. I just saved you hours that you can dedicate to something more meaningful. What's even more annoying is that she thinks that she is a talented DJ. Oh and don't forget her infamous catchphrase "that's hot." It's not the early 2000s anymore and Paris Hilton shouldn't be famous anymore. She needs to find something that she is passionate about.
4 Scott Disick
While it would normally be appropriate to include Lord Disick in the Kardashian clan, his recent split with Kourtney seems to be permanent. The breakup has unleashed an uncanny amount of irritating behavior from Scott. His partying has never been worse, and it couldn’t be more disturbing that he is still garnering this high amount of publicity. During the Cannes Film Festival, he was spotted with a different, super young woman every single day, including his ex (who he cheated on Kourtney with). The worst part is that he was doing it all just to get a rise out of the mother of his children! Scott is also one arrogant SOB, he even has fans pay for a picture PER PERSON. That’s right, you must pay extra if you want more than one person in the picture with him. That is next level ruthless. Boy, bye.
3 Justin Bieber
Do you think we forgot about this obnoxious singer? Justin Bieber is one of the most obnoxious on this list! Last year, he took his behavior to totally new levels. At first, we were so proud that he was changing his ways and finally trying to stay out of trouble. It seemed that he was growing up. But then he was kicked out of Tulum for pulling his pants down and climbing the ruins with his friends. But really, what kind of artist refuses to take pictures with his fans? He tried to play the victim card and compared himself to a “caged animal." Give me a break! You are worth well over 200 million dollars and you have access to anything your heart desires in the world. Not to mention, he is the most easily one of the most demanding, high-maintenance celebrities! His list of must-haves whenever he stays somewhere are ABSURD to top things off.
2 Jessica Simpson
Can you remember the last time you heard Jessica Simpson sing something? Did you even remember that she was a a singer? Me either. All we ever hear about is how fertile she is. Her life now consists of becoming pregnant, announcing the pregnancy on magazine covers, and discussing her clothing line. Back in the day, she was a pop singer, but she is most well-known for starring on her reality show Newlyweds with her then-husband Nick Lachey. I'm not going to lie, I have been super annoyed with her ever since she was filmed talking about "chicken of the sea." You remember that classic reality television moment, right?! She was eating tuna and she asked, "Is this chicken that I have, or is this fish?” Then she said, "“I know it’s tuna, but it says chicken by the sea. Is that stupid? What is it called — chicken by the sea or in the sea?” Ugh!
1 The "Cassh Me Outside" Girl
Do you remember her? This girl is every mothers’ worst nightmare, not that her own mother is any better. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! We can't help but aggressively roll our eyes and cringe when we hear this girl speak. Will someone please explain to me why she is famous, or more importantly, why people are paying her thousands upon thousands of dollars for her to make an appearance? She is now worth over a million dollars for screaming at Dr. Phil one stupid line one time. But let's remember, she claims that she made him famous. I am sure Dr. Phil is forever grateful. Make sure to “cassh” her Instagram where it is chalk full of videos of her sticking her tongue out to display that classy tongue ring or her rapping to a song that no 14-year-old should be singing!
